This car means a lot, says owner Cam. It represents a great time in his life, Cam's childhood is full of fantastic memories. He remembers vividly when as a young lad, he was allow to stay up late & watch the Rockford Files TV show with his dad. So imaging the joy & absolute delight when years late, Cam had the opportunity to purchase the actual car that was used in the Rockford Files TV show.
So buckle up folks & let us take you on a ride down memory lane.

I've had my '75 Firebrid Trans Am clone for almost 24 years now. She is still rough but runs pretty good. I have some future plans to finish her. But I have a lot of projects to attend too. lol But I grew up watching the Rockford Files and of course being a little kid. Wanted a Firebird. Well at the age of 22, my dream started to come true.

growing up in the south {Georgia} in the '70s I loved muscle cars & especially those Firebirds & MOPARS! my grandfather was a MOPAR salesman from 1946-1977 & Dukes of Hazzard was filmed in my hometown 1978 so I grew up with MOPARS all my life but then came Rockford Files, Cannonball {1976}, Cannonball Run {1981} & a few other flicks with Pontiacs but none so more than Smokey & the Bandit that was also filmed around my hometown area the summer of '76 & really got me into Firebirds/Trans Ams & since 1982 I have owned at least 13 of them, my first 2 being an '83 Ttop Firebird & a sweet '67 Firebird with the rare 326 & I got a Bandit II black/gold edition in 1985 & many in between with my last one being an all black 1998 WS6 Ttop 6sp! Enjoy the ride & dont forget to do Rockford's famous J turn!

I had one. Same color. My friends called it the Rockford Car. Like an ass I traded it in for a new 1981 Firebird. What a mistake.

Oh man this guy is an Aussie too! Didnt know about Rockford Files until recently. Cool to know it aired down-under. Anyone know where you can watch episodes?
