I picked that area with my buddy from about 98 till 2010 we couldn’t find many more moved on to the Yakima river, not sure if you have tried the Yakima but it’s the best in the basin, especially when you get up toward toppenish, good vid! Makes me wanna do rock hound again!
Fir Rd is just north out of town and you can find agates in west Richland. The description box has gps locations you can plug into google maps. Also I have a more current tri-cities agate hunting video as well.
I wonder if it's possibly pandemic related? Hard to say. Is there a suitable alternative to the Lortone 33B that is readily available? I'm thinking a Thumlers A-R2 would be suitable replacement to the 33B since both have the same size twin barrels. It seems the Thumlers is a bit more expensive, but at least it is available.
@@jwiLx listen I have been looking for my panic button. I just wanted to check it make sure it's working because I'm thinking I'm getting closer to have to use it. I looked everywhere for it. I was about to give up and asked my wife where it was and she was told that because I polished brass that I was a domestic terrorist and the FBI ATF and the SMS came and took it and I would be charged with the domestic terrorists soon but then they said they just were going to drop the charges because they wouldn't probably prosecute me for anything cuz you know what's the point right why would you lock up a criminal. If you locked up criminals who would run this country? And the court system and everything I mean every aspect of it so duh. If somebody needs to borrow a tumbler I can land them one I'm in West linn
If you don't find many rocks to collect, just focus on the pretty scenery! It sure is frustrating, though, when you go out and find just NOTHING. I find it's better to think of rockhounding as a journey, and sometimes there are empty spots in the road. :)
Sometimes you just don’t find much. Looks like a nice little casual find some cool rocks spot. I can’t say no to a pretty rock. I’ve had to start being more picky.
Yeah I just sorted 6 five gallon buckets of finds into little bins and tossed everything that can't be tumbled, cut, not nice enough to come into the house, or too small for the yard. Picky is good.
