I switched out my @Grizzly T28000 Bear Crawl Heavy-Duty Mobile Base for my Rockler All Terrain Mobile Base for #Grizzly #G0513ANV #Bandsaw. The #GrizzlyBearCrawl did just that, barely crawled, wouldn't turn, or resisted turning, then would not straighten out or resisted straightening out, when trying to move the bandsaw. Even when on a straight path, the nylon/poly outside of the casters seemed to flatten out and resist rolling. It has been a struggle each and every time I wanted to move the bandsaw. It is even worse for the Grizzly #G0634XP - 12" 5 HP #Planer/Jointer. The stopper/brakes, make the bandsaw teetery, and catch on every lip and crack in my workshop floor. Since the stoppers/brakes are only on the front, the rear wheels were free to roll, and the front wheels would sometimes swing and start to roll while resawing larger pieces. I had an extra #RocklerAllTerrainMobile www.rockler.co... after building a combined mobile base from one Rockler base for my twin #Unisaw setup. However, the slotted angle iron I used as cross members, to hold one side of each #Unisaw, had a tendency to strip the small bolts. Thsi left me with a fantastic mobile base, but no bolts to put it together. I wrote an email to @Rockler to tell them abou the issue and see about paying for replacement bolts. #RocklerWoodworkingandHardware instead said "we can help with that!" And just shipped replacement bolts for my base, no cost! THANK YOU #Rockler! This is the result: I can now move my bandsaw without taking all of my project time, or pulling a muscle and breaking a sweat. The Rockler All Terrain Mobile Base can easily be moved one handed, even on my twin Unisaw setup. I immediately went to Rockler's website and purhased another All Terrain Mobile Base for the Jointer/Planer. If I keep the Jointer/Planer, (review coming soon as I just bought it this past summer and still have not been able to successfully use it on a project) then I need to be able to move it. I do not receive any commission or benefit from Rockler. They just have great products and #fantasticcustomerservice :)
