@@TomKnollyou can get out of the van and shoot them from over the water, you literally got to push triangle as you get in the van before they show you where the gangs are. It’s like a second timeframe.
I love cheesing it like this. Like the actual mission isn’t that hard on its own. But as a child who was bad a things I remember having to figure out weird ways around to do things like this.
@@stevepricemusic That's actually the opposite, on mouse and keyboard this is really easy (at least with keyboard controls, not using the mouse), but back in the days on the PS2 controller... 🤮🤮 I remember the sensitivity was atrocious, a slight touch with the stick and you go into the water instantly lol
@@K3rhos yes i think that mouse control is similar to ps2 controller, i remember playing this when i was a kid, it got weird acceleration patterns. I even set my mouse sensitivity to an insane low value, still got out of control when I try to turn. There’s some stupid mouse smoothing as well :(
Yeah, the fuel consumption of the plane was messed up and it would drain twice as fast as it was supposed to. Driving it on the ground was the solution for me too
How come nobody told me this in the first place after all the frustration I went though? Thanks for the alternative idea when I start a new game finishing the whole game even not 100%.
I've done this a few times. Games with non realistic physicals and graphics provided many more hours of entertainment and replayability than realistic ones do.
Rockstar REALLLLLLLY loves putting RC toys/weapons into their games…. Eg Vice City SA, & their most recent one RDR2 😆 tbh imo they’re all super fun, even the Zero missions in San Andreas, esp the third one:))!!

Pro tip, if you want to play old games get a handheld game device,, I just played a very old game called Z totally unplayable on a regular pc because of the high definition It's epic for older games!! Vice city to, it runs it with ease ❤
I completed this mission few days ago & I was literally trying to kill them by dropping bombs....took more than 2 days to figure out this trick (which I discovered accidentally) 😂😅
You can just bypass this mission by spawning any car cheat. Since the top fun van is also a spawning path, the vehicle will spawn newr Tommy that force him to change vehicle and you can avoid the rc. You will back the control on Tommy and you can finish the Cubans by your self. It works in DE but I don't know it the classic. Why you play in calssic anyway these days.
I mean in theory you can do this way, but isn't it so much boring? I mean the other way is literally like playing Battlefield, dropping bombs from your plane against boats.
I call this AD (Artificial dumbness). They will only shoot at the remote controlled plane whenever it starts bombarding them. The video's author never did so, so they didn't start shooting as they weren't programmed to shoot in different situations. LOL!
They left it open-ended, so to say that rockstar didn't want us to do this is disingenuous. This is emergent gameplay, something sadly lacking in many games today.
