When playing music real bands can't stop no matter how many final tours, it's basically all they know in life they will not sit home when they can play and do what they enjoy, it's not the songs, it's not the people, it's not the money cause older rockers still rockin don't need money, they do it because that's what they have enjoyed and get use to it. More than that kieth really put his self thru hell with drugs he's really incredible, to be able to do what he wants...
You know that game where you show someone a word and get a response quickly. Rockstar = Keith Richards. The man created the word. The Rolling Stones are the manifestation of rock and roll.
Hetfield* hasn't aged badly, especially considering the struggles with addiction... Dude is literally 60 years old and still rocks, has a healthy looking physique and can handle huge metal live shows.
Keith Richards is almost 80 years old and looks like ... and 80 year old man. He's the exact opposite of everyone else on this list. Dude has done so much drugs and alcohol for so long, it's amazing he's alive and still functioning the way he is.
@@snisbet721 he should nt made 40 let alone 80 same with ozzy lot his friends did not think he make 30 back in the day let alone 75 , both walking miracles done enoughbooze an drugs to kill a small town off only diference between the pair was ozzy only tried smack once an said fuck that shite i got enough problems with booze coke dont need that as well
*Happy Neil`s* favorite songs: 1. Starving eyes 2. Ham sweet ham 3. Too fat for love 4. Donuts Feelgood 5. Shout at the waiter 6. Without stew 7. Cooks that kill 8. Stuffn` in the boys room 9. Too fat to fall in love 10. Grills Grills Grills 11. Ten seconds to lunch
1. Primal Ice Cream 2. Smoked Brisket in the Boys Room 3. Dr. Tastegood 4. God Bless the Children of the Feast 5. Shout at the Deviled eggs. 6. Rattlesnake Shake N Bake Funny, they actually have a song called "Slice of Your Pie".
I've continued to see Vince Neil live. Only because his drummer, Zoltan Chaney, is phenomenal! Seriously, the guy is like the human version of Animal from the Muppets. Honestly, the only reason I keep going these days.
You know who else has deep wrinkles and sunken eyes? Literally everyone at age 80. He's held up remarkably well for his age. There aren't many 80 year olds I know that can do a multi continent 100 date stadium tour.
They’ve aged. So what. We all do. I’d kill to look like I did at 21. I’m just glad they are still with us. The most shocking thing to me is that Axl never got into drinking or drugs. Respect
he did but he gave up early on an got bored off it, the other four joined the ranks of ozzy an keef that what caused the divide in the band he pissed the other 4 off
Are you kidding? Axl bragged about raping his groupies. The last time I saw G&R, Axl jumped in the crowd attacking a fan for taking a photo. He was and is bat shit crazy and made fans wait hours for him to perform, if he showed up at all. You couldn't pay me to see him now.
I went to a G'n'R show one or two years ago and it was an awesome gig. I'm not that much into big stadiums cause the sound is always somewhat detached but they killed it. Axl was running around for basically 3 hours and his singing did justice to the old days. I'm 27 and probably can't do what he did - I'm not even a die hard Guns fan but I got nothing but respect for them.
I'm 68 and am here to tell you Axl is a bipolar nutjob. The last time I saw G&R, Axl jumped in the crowd attacking a fan for taking a photo. He bragged about raping his groupies. Get another hero, cuz he's scum.
Ok how is James Hetfield on this list, he's aged totally fine for his age, I'd say even looks younger than a lot of 60 year olds. Keith Richards and Ozzy also look fine considering the amount of drugs they both did.
James looks really good no matter what. Short hair, long hair, facial hair, no facial hair, skinny and muscular, muscular and ripped or dad bod and grey, sober or not sober, he has always looked super handsome and I’ll bet even on his death bed, he’ll be super good looking no matter what. ❤
The problem with him though is he's an alcoholic. It's not like he's stopped paying attention to his health. He never paid attention in the first place, so it has caught up to him. Even when he was in his 20s, his nickname was Fat Bob.
They always use Vince Neil as a poster child for artists that let themselves go. They touch on the manslaughter accident and loss of friend, then heavy drinking in 92, then jump ahead to 97 and say he let himself go so bad you couldn’t recognize him. He’s always the butt of all these pie eating jokes. But no mention of losing his 4 year old daughter in 95. The guy has been through shit. Probably more than most of us could ever grasp. People get so caught up in wanting to know of the fast life, but not the marriages. They expect rock stars to be some modelesque idol and forget they are real people who somehow managed push themselves to keep going, and still went out and toured for fans, took efforts to better himself. So yeah, maybe he partied a lot when he was young, made some mistakes, like many of us. But after all the tragedy, depression and weight gain, at least he still never gave up. He outlasted many
Excellent perspective. Appreciate you looking through a lens of reality and sharing. Everyone has struggles. Some are more publicized than others. Vince and the Crue brought me a lot of happiness in the 80s and early 90s. I am grateful for that.
" The guy has been through shit. " Let's be real. The guy has been through SOME shit. I would venture to guess that overall his life has been FAR better than most.
That's absolute quality, my friend! I endured the former of these two forms of "pain" for the first 17 years of my life (until I was hit by a car & then spent more than 18 months recovering from my injuries, which ended my previous dreams of being a pro' tennis player) & the latter of the two forms of pain over the past 33 years, so almost exactly double the amount of regret vs discipline...
I’ll tell you what’s nuts- is Corey Taylor looks the same in his early 50’s as he did 30 years ago, and he’s done more hard drugs and alcohol, than even most celebrities. And to be fair, Hetfeild is like 60 now, and Ozzy Ousborne is like 75 at least, which is generally when the average Caucasian male dies. Don’t get me wrong, dope probably cost James 3 years or so and Ozzy about 6 years, but they’re not doing too bad lmao
I’ve always thought that judging people who are old was one of easier ways to tell that someone lacks intelligence. Most of y’all aren’t pleasant to look at now, and it’s only going to get worse for you later on
Not really, he just had anger issues, he hated his bandmates doing drugs and alcohol. What killed Axl appereance was he getting so fat for a fried chicken adiction.
@@karlimo4034 he did he just cleaned his act quicker an got bored them , the orignal four took yrs an decdes to cleanup , slash flat lined an been prounvced dead 3 times duff was given a day to live by doctor when pancras blew up an somehow survived an alder had stroke an izzy f--ked off an left guns n roses to get over his shit ,duff slash allder were lucky to make through the mid 90 let alone still all be alive in 2023
I know you did not just say Axle did not have issues with drugs and alcohol. We have all aged. Musicians are no different. Even the ones who actually did take care of themselves, aged. I mean Jon Bon Jovi has aged like an exceptionally fine wine. But none the less, he has aged. A couple of years ago I went to see Vince at a club. During Home Sweet Home, he came over and sung to me. Did I care that he didn't look like the same dude I met decades ago when the Crue opened for Ozzy? Nope, the 20 yo old in me just cared about the fact that Vince Neil sang to me. I still adore Blacke Lawless. And BTW, James has aged like a fine wine too. And who cares that he chopped his hair off. Bon Jovi did too.
I don't believe Ozzy has been singing the last few years...I believe he uses backing tracks. He can barely talk but in concert the singing seems perfect.
A lot of rockstars did drugs in the younger days which kept them skinny. As they age and get off drugs their appetite comes back. Now that their appetite is back they start the gain weight.
Unless there's a cure for aging, we're all going to look 80 when we're 80. No matter what. It helps if you keep your hair on and your weight off, but 80 is 80 lol
Axl Rose was unhealthy as hell for 15-20 years or so, it wasn’t truly & honestly until reuniting with Duff & Slash that Rose started actually trying again, in every way, dietary being the noticeable thing, however even vocally you can tell he gives a damn & has been sounding ALOT better & I haven’t heard of any riots started since GN’R partially reunited (sans Izzy & Steven).
You gotta be a special kind of spoiled asshole to ruin your life with a DUI accident and killing your friend in the process, then, get a second DUI, and then STILL get a third one. In my state, his license would be gone forever.
Hard to believe that people are still paying money to see Motley Crew. They've now been caught numerous times using tracking tapes in live performances. Mars has filed a lawsuit against them for using the prerecorded studio tapes at live events. So, their fans are paying up to $2500 a ticket to listen to their record. Hilarious! That they not only got caught, but their own band member is calling them out.
Vince Neil driving his vehicle with his friend while drunk and speeding. He gets in an accident and kills his friend. He gets off with a slap on the wrist. Anyone were to do this, they would be sitting in jail for 15-25 years. I was hoping it would have at least given Vince so hope but instead, he goes off and continuously gets busted for drinking and driving. It is such a miscarriage of justice. I lost all respect for Vincent since he killed someone. I do like some of the music they made but in reality it has no meaning behind it for me.
Vince Neil is the worst. I don't know what kind of people would call themselves a fan. It's bad enough what happened in 1984, but you could forgive it if he showed an ounce of remorse. But no, he's still drinking and driving four decades later like he didn't kill his own passenger and cause permanent brain damage to the person in the car he hit.
I am a huge W.A.S.P. fan, and I can strongly agree that Blackie really did let himself go during their temporary breakup through the 90's and that he was a born again Christian. Blackie changed man. He went from a wild sexual pervert to a rock n roll version of an overweight man. No offense to him, he's still cool. I can unfortunately see him getting to that age that he can't even perform anymore. Or can't even play a instrument and sing properly. The end of W.A.S.P. might sadly he shortly.
@Hevi Your comments about Keith Richards are illogical. Keith may be a lot of things, but he has NEVER bullshitted about his addictions or embraced the need to get face lifts. HE HAS never become a egotist or someone who needs to be in the spotlight all the time. He's calked BEING AUTHENTIC. Warts and all. And, I find it interesting you magically avoid mentioning his fellow Stones band member, he's worked with for 50+ years, Mick Jagger. He is the the complete reverse of most past their prime ex rock stars. THE TRUTH If you want to have a great voice and look good 50 years later? You should be like Donny Osmond. He's in amazing shape. Looks and sounds very close to his 70s heyday. And all it took? Abstaining from a lot of the things others, on this list, have never been able to give up, unlike Keith. HOW WELL WILL YOU look when you're in your 70s to 80s? And the people on this list did spend 20 to 50 years busting their ass to entertain others. So, that's bound to have SOME knock on effect later in life. There's a reason why you are here making great videeos and they MADE MUSIC HISTORY. Use your brain, which you clearly have, (unless your Ozzy in which case you have an excuse not to). David
