Love it…I remember when they won the 1000, sand I thought that little Bronco was the ultimate machine and I wanted one badly. But I was a student at the time and had no money…fast forward a few (40+) years and I finally found and rebuilt my dream machine, a 1969 Bronco.

David, this is before the fire. Jay has had many interviews and been out in public since he got out of the hospital and even did a stand up comedy show in LA the other day. So he's doing ok, heck I'd say great, but yeah he's got scarring on his mouth and side of his face, and on his hands. But his attitude seems to be "no big deal", he doesn't care what he looks like. You'll have to know Jay's body language if you want an idea of when he rolls his eyes. Not saying he did it here, but I have seen him do it before. It almost become joyful when he does...... The last time I saw it was just before his accident. One of the last 5 videos before his accident.

I'm confused. First, they say it has a 4-speed manual, then they say it has a C6 automatic??

Same here, they even show 3 pedals on the floor then in another shot the automatic shifter

And when they're driving it, it appears to have the automatic.

Its had an engine change, the new "crate engine" has an auto box. The original engine would have been a manual box.

When originally raced it had a Toploader 4speed, and never raced with a stock Bronco 302 (which had 200HP in '68), but with a Stroppe built 302 good for typically 325-425HP depending on your abilities, gauged by Bill.

Looks state of the art. Current rock crawler people modify a wide range of vehicles and they look very much like the Bronco.

Dear Mr Jay, I just found out about your accident, I'm so sorry. As I see, you are fine, you look good, I hope everything will be fine with your health in the future as well. I'm a big fan of yours and a big car lover, one of those who never had their own car... My three-year-old son Filip (I'm 57) is also a fan of cars, he has about a hundred car toys, he can list all the parts of a car (in English). It looks very nice and funny here in Serbia. I hope that you will continue your work so that we too can enjoy cars, even if only in our imagination. Sorry if my English is bad, this is a translator.. Greetings Zoltan

Am I missing something? This absolute trophy looks totally mint. And yet they're talking about the color scheme looking of its time and how it doesn't matter if it gets a dent, etc. But the paint and lettering look perfect. I don't see a ding on the entire body. Surely this was recently re-painted and has had body pieces replaced, right? This doesn't look like a 50 year old race car at all. But then, I'm no expert. Regardless, this is a truly awesome vehicle. And I'm happy to see Mr. Leno has maintained his refreshingly cavalier attitude towards road lanes.
