Does your unit make any low beeping sound when it starts? I just got mine but it's kind of bothering me (I contacted RODE but I haven't heard back)

My podcast is pretty new. Thanks for your help. How did you balance out the sides of the headphones? I had someone helping me and he said he could only hear out of one side of his headset.

Hey man! I just bought my self this device after i bought goxlr mini. But somehow the inputs on rodes mixer and goxlr doesnt really look the same.. I have a rode nt1 mic and that cable worked perfecly.. But for rodcaster duo it doesnt work. Do you know If there is any adapter or anything? As you said in the video you used to have the same as me.. But how can your mic work and mine dont? 🤔 Best regards!

The mic input is an XLR connection, so as long as you mic is XLR then it will work.

Great Video. My Rodecaster Duo Record button turn grey instead of green. And can't record anything. Had no issue with mic connection. Any idea why?

@@dwaynemiddleton8322we tested multiple sd cards and had the same problem. Then, for no reason, the green light eventually came on. No idea why. We cycled thru the proper setup multiple times and it finally worked for no apparent reason. Maybe the greyed out button is related to an sd connectivity issue. Not sure.

It doesn't sound like your using yours for podcasting exclusively so would your peeve about the virtual channels for the USBs affect using this for podcasters as well or has that been fixed?

It really depends on your setup. I'm using it for streaming and not pod casting. The issue for me is with connecting a second PC (streaming PC). The first USB has 2 channels, but the second only has one. I have not see anything about them adding more virtual channels.

@@Mannyocrity For the podcasters I've watched here that use this I haven't seen anyone call that out as a shortcoming so maybe it's not an issue for just podcasting.

Yeah, probably not since when pod casting, I'd imagine you only really care about the mics, but for streaming you have several different inputs such as music, game, discord, and mic. In my case, I like to stream with closed captioning. The closed captioning gets messed up when you have multiple voices coming in over a single channel. I wanted to set it up so it is only my voice coming over it.

do u have some problem with mic level on discord? and games? i switch from goxlr too, and i cannot setup this interface, i try everything, i make preset for mic and its changing, i have doubble sound for no reason, can u help me with this?

What do you mean by double sound and what is changing? My mic level on discord is fine. I've had people tell me it sounds better then my GoXLR did and the GoXLR sounded great.

@@Mannyocrity so i fix all my problems with reset of devise =) and yep its 100% better than goxlr but Rode have to add some virtual channels

@@Mannyocrity oh if i remember right in the video, you use the 3.5 to 6.35 adapter for the headphones, yesterday i tried to plug them in the front port the normal 3.5 and it works great and you don't need an adapter you have to try it (if you don't already use it =))

@squ1py the front 3.5mm port does work, but I also have speaks plugged in and it also looks cleaner having them plugged into the back. I think the adapters were under 10 USD.
