It's a great thing to have sons. Too bad I only have one. He's now 17. Before i know it he'll be on having a job and then his own family. Time flies by so fast. But i always tell him that no matter how big and strong he gets he will always be my boy and that i will always love him no matter what.

I have a girl, and a boy. He sticks up for her. But ,dam for a skinny girl, she and hold her own. Even after two rounds of chemo!

When I was growing up, I would defend my little brother to the bitter end. I started off with, if you want to fight him, you have to go through me first. If you think you're that good, but you won't be. It usually came to blows, but my brother didn't have to fight until he was old enough to do it for himself. Mom ordered me to take care of him until he was able to handle things on his own. Now, he looks after me. I love him for all the great things he does. Brothers are the best!

Barbara Thomas did that same thing with my sister, and i'd be damned if they didn't try to charge me with attempted murder in my 4th grade year, a weird ass kid kept grabbing my sisters ass and every time she'd go to swing he'd pin her up against the wall. Took my book sack, got a 5 maybe 6 yard run, next thing u know u hear a loud boom and he's on the ground me on top beating the shit out of him, a d at the time I loved to read so I had a big ass book took it out and damn near killed him, point being, no matter what protect younger sibling to siblings who can't defend them self, and rlly any giel cause nobody will go without fighting a punk.

My brother is well over 6 years older than me but he isnt that big of a guy and he got jumped by 2 guys who were both atleast 200pounds and 6' so i hopped out my truck and ran over and swung as hard as i could and caught the first guy in the mouth and my brother jumped on him while i went after the other guy and tackled him to the ground and began stomping on his ribs. Noone hurts my little big brother

He put us through hell, and I wanted to beat the shit out of him when we had to meet the cops after they had stopped him and found that he had weed. He had just gotten off probation that day and was going to "celebrate". He was cuffed and put in a cop car and one of us drove his car home, but first we had to meet up at the cop station. He wouldn't give up the name of the kid who sold him the weed, but finally wrote it down. I was so close to beating him to the ground, and with 4 cops there, one being the chief, I don't think they would have stopped me. We were ready to take him home when the chief realized that this was a 2nd offense so he was sent overnight to a juvy jail. It was 4 days before Christmas and when the person who had to transport him put him in shackles, I had all I could do to not bawl on the spot. It wasn't until he was out of sight that I just collapsed and cried. I didn't know if he would be home for Christmas or not, but they brought him home the next day. I can't believe we made it through everything that lasted a full decade. The night he was arrested, we weren't sleeping anyway, but around 2am, our phone started ringing. His probation officer ripped me to pieces over him and the weed as if it was my fault. That was a night I prefer to forget. He OD'd 3 separate times, attempted suicide more than once, and had me terrified. He spent 95 days in the local jail at one point, and those were the best nights of sleep I ever got because I knew where he was and that he had no access to alcohol or drugs while he was there. The last 3-4 years, he got his life turned around, and is doing great now. I guess all of the times that we let him come back home to live was worth it after all. It gives me a headache just thinking about it all, but at least I don't have to go to the cemetery to visit with him. That was my biggest fear. I hope you're doing ok now.

Allyson Jones keep your head up little one, it sucks but trust me it's his loss I have 3 kids 2 daughter's from a past relationship my oldest is 16 and my youngest daughter is 11 and my son from my girlfriend I've been with for almost 10 years is 6 but I followed my daughter's from Pennsylvania to Washington state on the westcoast and every summer I buy me a round trip and them one way tickets to get my babies a true father will follow his kids till the end of the world if needed so your dad lost out on raising a daughter he should be ashamed of himself. They tell me all the time how grateful they are I belong to them and, at 90 and 94, I am so very grateful I still have them in my life. My biological mother even denies my existence, which is her right. I have all the love and acceptance I could ever want with my own parents. It's all about the love, not the blood.
