Yolanda as a youngster in da late 79 done this song as lead singer in Southeast. Niki done this song some 20 something years later, who also was a member of Southeast later yrs.
Nikki Ross sung a couple weeks ago at my church...Hope Christian Ministries the greatest church in RIchmond VA ..where ...Pastor Mark Vereen is one of the greatest preachers/prophets of this age!
Though they're both doing this for God, the YOLANDA ADAMS original version ministers to me way more than this version could. Nikki is a talented vocalist but I think people get so lost in the "vocal acrobats" that they lose point of the message and the ministry. She's extremely busy in everything, as she is in this song as well. Give ME the passion and conviction of Yolanda Adams any day!

@Vontrell Brown I totally agree. Sorry, this is good but the original has a better focus on the message than the styling of the vocals. I do like the choir arrangement update, the key changes are cool, but too much over doing it, To over the top for me. I'm just sayin...I can do without the styling in Gospel Music all together. Give me an anointed singer who can just minister the message clearly and I am no more good! As you may be able to determine I am not a youth nor young adult, so my comment comes from experience and substance based ministry.
