Can you contact GGG and ask them for it to highlight which affixes get removed or changed by those options, so we don't have to open up a website and try and figure out which of the affixes it is going to hit? I think that would be a significant quality of life change to Rog.

ONLY GGG would have an option of "remove the lowest level modifier" but not have a way for you to see which modifier that is in-game.

They could just add a chart of item level lists in the Info menu, a simple jpg file that you can zoom into and browse.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I consider the fact that the UI doesn’t highlight on the item what enchants like “remove lowest level” will do is a failing on GGG’s part.

This is entirely deterministic so it should definitely be highlighted. I could definitely see them improving this if it is brought up.

100%! The fact that this information is ONLY available via 3rd party sites is just ridiculous. Imagine being a new player, having two unexpected affixes get eaten and never knowing what you did wrong and how you could have prevented it.

@@joebot001 I mean, when a lot of players think that tier = level (which Rog can remove), perhaps they could make it more clear wtf he is actually going to do. You cannot see the level of a tier ingame, so why not make the removal based on the tier itself? Why not show the level ingame, when advance tooltips are on? That's my alternative idea and yes, I use 3rd party websites and don't care I have to.

Remember to buy some of the rog options even if they dont seem that great when youre crafting good items to make sure you dont get stuck ruining or taking it, if you're aiming for +1 stat tier options and such!

Makes a lot more sense to me now that I'm actually checking ilvl req of mods. Didn't realize that life tiers end at such low ilvls on so many slots. I kept trying to get decent armors, but I guess this works much better for gear where most of the mods you want are high ilvl, like weapons and stuff.

I've only used Rog once but the result was mindblowing. I saw a crystal belt with 79 implicit and nothing else. after a bit of clicking, here's what I ended up with: 50 Energy Shield 68 Mana open prefix (used to craft hybrid ES) 53 str 36 cold res crappy life regen

I had a super random body armour from Rog, he influenced on the second option and rerolled prefix and suffix. 10% max life 24% Effect of offerings 1.5% Attack crit chance 15% of life gained every 4 seconds 11% of physical taken as chaos Annnd reduced attributes...

2 questions.. do you always get the same amount of crafts before u have to take the item? .. and if you skip a craft (step) do you get another step for the skipped one?

If skipping didn't count as a step then there literally wouldn't be any penalty for skipping. You could skip infinitely until you get good mods and make a god tier item every time. 🤦‍♂️

You should not have to access a spreadsheet to craft, especially if you are in the middle of a map. The game should show you what is going to happen before you choose an option.

very powerful yet, still very RNG. imo last epoch is the deterministic crafting we need. No non streamer/nolifer has the time to fail enough to counteract the RNG involved in getting items powerful enough to take on the end game content consistently.

Why the "keep best outcome" always leave absolute shit? Such as stun/block recovery, +mana etc. Never got any res with rerol suffixes best outcome! Or are good modiferes just not int the pool of this reroll?

I think it goes by the level requirement of the mod, so you'll never get something like the +1 fire gems from the start of the video, because that has a low requirement. It's kind of a dumb system...

Pig crafting is just as useless as his currency. He usually just adds a prefix then remove them all and it rotates, doesn't really give nice influences and stuff. Ok I could make an evasive boot with him once but all his other items were just a waste of time. Not to talk about Gwen who is 100% useless. HH and unnatural instincts only drops for streamers. Let's just say that Pig and Gwen are really good for SSF and pretty much useless in trade league with very very few exeptions.

i didn't really bother with this npc. by the time you finished crafting gears, you would have already finished multiple maps runs and gain the currency you will need for that item that you want. this NPC just benefits SSF players.

Because a very large percentage of this game's player base has zero common sense and will base every single one of their arguments defending bad game design on GGG talking points instead of thinking for themselves. And let's not forget, Zizaran was very vocal in his opposition to Harvest because it was too deterministic... yet sits here cheerleading how great Rog is. You can't find this level of stupid in other games' player bases.
