An emotional tribute to the Greatest Men's Tennis Player of all times, Roger Federer, I feel privileged to be alive to witness his epic comeback and unprecedented 18th Grand Slam Title.
crazy how deep emotions run for him as fans, I will never forget that heart in the mouth moment when my heart was about to give out waiting to see hawk eye's result that he had won his 18th slam
That day, when he won the Australian Open against Nadal after his injury...I had goosebumps for days after that. Everyone thought he was done. But he was not. We believed.
I have followed Roger Federer for over 20 years, the early years of heartbreak, the wonderful years of magnificent wins and now the twilight years. I would not have missed any of them he is a God
When Nadal broke his serve in the 5th I was in tears. I couldn't watch him lose another grand slam final after 2014 and 2015 where tried so hard. And the time when he fell down against Raonic at Wimbledon 2016. If he lost again, I don't think I'd ever sleep in peace again. But what we all saw after that moment was divinity. And half an hour later, I was crying again except in happiness and joy! He is the best. The greatest of all time.
Why ? He played a great match , Djokovic just played that little bit better in the clutch moments that was the difference in the end , very close match where you could even argue Federer being the better player overall.
I was alive too when he won his 19th against Cilic ! and we are waiting for his 20th.. But i have to admit that his final match with Nadal at AO 2017 was the most exciting match I have ever watched.
Respect for a legend. As a Nole fan, I believe that he will surpass the 20 GS soon. But I don’t think he could play like Federer in the recent Wimbledon at the age of 38. Still dominating the game and almost win the final.
This one was so sweet. I keep re-watching the highlights over and over with tears of joy. Hell yeah. He did it when we all doubted we would ever see this moment again.
Extraterrestrial Horse People say that about every top level athlete in every sport and every time someone better comes along within the next 5 years just due to natural evolution of the sport and training techniques. No one anticipated the arrival of Messi, Ronaldo, Federer, Nadal, Lebron James, Schumacher, Hamilton, Tom Brady etc, but the evolution is inevitable.
@@maxconnolly4279 Micheal Jordan is still considered the best basketballer of all time and guys like Federer, Djokovic and Nadal have been dominating tennis for ten years like no-one before. I didn't say they will be the goats for ever, I said they will be unrivalled for a LONG time.
Nina Grozdanovic - thanks u r only Serbians who Respects Federer . As a Federer fans it’s sad to see in Wimbledon 2019 that he is so close to winning. Still miss those championships Points. !! Anyways credit goes to Djokovic he Won his 16th Grand slam Title .!!! Congratulations 👏.
@@callumowen4847 Didnt destroy him thats for sure, but then again Novak was not even close to his A game while on the other hand Federer was playing almost at its max. Not to mention crowd was super RF oriented, Fed missed 2 match points and Novak with his shity playing still menaged to win. He didn't destroy him statisticly but mentaly ohh boi RF is 2m under gound.
And in that year too Rafa win RG and US Open 2017, meanwhile Roger won Aus Open and Wimbledon 2017 miss that moment these two won GS together in same year.
Respect, something you can't buy. Look at 06:26 Rafa just looks on in amazement at how he keeps acheiving so much success & never, ever, shows shows any signs of arrogance , smugness or ego. Federer & Rafa are in a class of their own & i am not talking about their tennis talents!
I love how he still looks like a kid at XMas after such a victory although he has nothing left to prove. His pleasure to play is seeable, his humility is insane. He IS tennis. He is a lesson of sportsmanship and everything else. I scream when he wins and I cry when he loses because he's such a great champion and a great man. You never stop dreaming with people like him.
Well done. When you look at Nishikori and Djokovic, they are effective players, but so workmanlike. If there were any style points in tennis, Roger Federer would never lose.
I was alive when he won the 20th slam and 101 title! I will still be alive when he will win the 21st, 22nd, 23rd slam and 110 titles..... By the special grace of GOD. Go Roger, with God, impossible is nothing.
I was alive many years before he won his first. I hope he just stays healthy and that I see him win 21. Will be tough with Djokovic playing sublime tennis.
The respect and love I have for this guy, true gentlemen on and off court. These last couple of weeks have been painful but this just reminds me how much I admire Roger Federer.
Yeah our guy really got unlucky today, idk it will hurt for a long time, but the old man showed some true zeal till the last moment, that's inspirational, 38 yrs old still played longest final, beyond incredible, he is the GOAT maybe the unluckiest as well today, but he will come back, he has majors left in him
@@sam12345393 Yeah if he really does stay in shape I think he can last a solid year or two before he gets overrun by Nadal and Djokovic's "youth"... (On grass)
@@sam12345393 it´s not unlucky man, the other player is the most strong psychally and mental player of all time. 3 times he beats roger´s saving 2 match points in GS matches, it´s not bad luck it´s a pattern
From a Rafan, big congratulations for the video. I love Roger, and this was very emotional. Can't believe it's been 3 years since that final, I cried a lot for Rafa, but Roger is a true legend. He is the legend.
Two legends!! To be honest, I hope that this gs final is the last they has had together, when you see the history they've had behind themselves. One of the most unforgettable matches for me 🙏🤩
The best tennis player ever and always will be No one will ever match him in tennis are for been the human being that he is. So glad i have lived in the generation to see him and to admire him 💥💥💥💥💥
I watched that 5th set again, a few days later.... what a historical match! I It brought tears in my eyes, then and now. The music from the end of the movie The gladiator fits perfectly....
be ready for the 21st title video my friend its gonna be more emotional and legendary. we're going through very unlucky days but soon the happiness will come with the 21st title and its gonna be against djoko this time. the first time he ended the goat debate with rafa now with nole he must beat him in a final and break the curse.
Saw this video many a times - nicely done picking up and editing long rallies along with the ecstatic moments beautifully.I'm optimistic that if Roger decides to continue playing, and hope he does, he can claim even the 20th.
Djokovic still won't win as many Wimbledon titles as Federer though and I'm saying that assuming Federer finishes on 8 and at least he overtook Sampras's 7.
What a truly nicely done video. Federer's career has been personal for a lot of us...and obviously it has for you. Some of us can hardly stand to watch him lose. We struggle with him, pull for him, share his grief at the many close losses...then we're all suddenly uplifted and inspired by him all over. He is the G.O.A.T...this video is a tribute to the journey that made him that. Really, really well done piece of art.
I'm a big RAFA fan when Roger was in his prime and was always number 1 but I always respect Roger. He's the GOAT of tennis. Rafa is his kryptonite. And I hate Djokovic
KRYPTONITE???.....yes he did provide some hard time to FED first on clay and then from clay naturally it tranferred on to hard courts as well which scarred him yes ubt if u a look at the HTH record Nadal 23-14 but out of those most of them on clay 15-2 then u move on to hard courts its 9-8 in RFs favour along with indoors which RF leads by a huge margin and also the grass where he leads 2-1 and now RF beating RAFA 3 straight times this year now shows that its the other way round it is Rafa who is scarred mentally and now RF is his kryotonite which shows that with time RF has become stronger than RAFA and has improved his game in such a way that it can serve him well for many many many more years to come unlike RAFA who only has a couple of years in him and let us assume that he doesn't win the RG 2017 he could retire maybe at the end of this year who knows?????.......As far as RF is concerned to me it looks like he will stay for long and as long as he wants to thats the difference between the two right now and u never know RF may grab his 2nd at the RG u never know......this RF is completely different to what u saw in the mids of 2015-2016................#RF#18#302#GOAT#THE LEGENDDDDD#GSOALT(GREATEST SPORTSMAN OF ALL TIME)with ALI,JORDAN.PELEetccccc
7 “wonders man” in the World of Sports Federer.. He is one of them.. Zidane - Football Usain Bolt - Athletic Hamilton - F1 (7 world title as Schuhmacher but he still young still can win) Tiger Woods - Golf Valentino Rossi - MotoGP Lin Dan - Badminton
I cried when Rafa lost it 😭😭 now in 2019 I have seen Roger live in Halle and I was so impressed by himself and his backhand (haha) 😳 but I still cry when I see Rafa losing this match
dont know why nadal fans always put h2h record with federer only, they never talk about h2h against dustin brown , davydenko..take away roland garros nadal reduces to nothing..take away wimbledon federer is still above 10 gs...federer fans like federer not only for his gs numbers ,its for the grace, the elegance, the effortlessness which is not there in nadal djokovic murray or any other present players...u can win gs but u will never get the place where king fed belongs..
