22 Time Grand slam Champion And 14 Time French Open/Roland Garros Champion Rafael Nadal Funny Moments with 20 time Grandslam Champion Roger Federer during the laters Laver Cup Event 2019
That's not italian. He's replying in spanish to rafa and in english to federer. Rafa is talking in spanish because Fognini can understand and speak spanish. Federer is speaking in english because it's the only language Fognini knows among the ones Roger speaks.
I love how Rafa can't believe Roger is even asking that question, Roger Federer, tennis legend, asking who should serve? Lol. Also just shows what a nice and thoughtful guy Rafa is by silently pointing to Roger instead of being all "obviously you should" in order to not offend the other person haha
@@Darkmexable Roger is also great at the net so there might be a legit strategic reason for him to be there. But yes Rafa is so fired up he immediately responds yet he doesn't want to offend lol.
4:08 federer asking who should serve, rafa saying "you" pointing at federer and saying more quietly so tsitsipas not to be offended. Nadal is pure gold 😂
5:43 Nadal allowing everyone else to sign, passing the marker to others and even checking if everyone's done signing before signing it himself. The humbleness. A real champion's attitude. #LeadersEatLast
FYI they were signing Rafa's shirt for his museum (it's in display at his academy), so makes sense he should sign last, but nevertheless agree he is one of the humblest in the game.
Understanding it is not messy, what really amazed me is his ability to respond in whatever the language he is being talked to, at pretty much the same time. I’m bilingual, and when I’m surrounded by people who speak only English and only Spanish in the same room, I usually ended up speaking the wrong language to the wrong people. 🤣
Rafa and Rogers friendship is one of the best thing ever happened in tennis. Both were hardcover rival become one the closest friends. Such a amazing friendship.
Haha that conversation about Tsitsipas' signs to Nadal is hilarious. What makes it even funnier is that, if I remember correctly, Nadal first had a conversation with Federer (with a lower voice) saying he didn't understand Tsitsipas' signs and Federer said something along the lines of "well tell him". Love the comradery between the legends!
Rafa is a born comedian. Anything he says is funny. He's funny even when he gestures. Hey may have a second career after tennis as a stand up comedian.
Yes, and the best is that he's talking or acting seriously. I've watched a couple of inteeviews to Nadal & Federer together, Federer laughing to tears, and Nadal waiting fir him to stop and looking at him in a funny way
Tanya2000k Not really buddy. The only beautiful thing about Novak’s technique is his backhand... everything else is quite flimsy and not as powerful as Federer and Nadal’s strokes. Let’s just say the best thing about Novak is consistency and flexibility, the rest of all the shot making elements goes to Federer and Rafa.
This is history of sport not only tennis. These two legends have some fun and being partners for once after more than ten years being rivals and the goats of tennis. Simply priceless this video comp
Laver cup 2019 cannot be forgotten. The team help each other to gain victory. You will see all kindsof emotions, Happy, excited, stressed, intense, funny, overwhelmed, high energy, enthusiastic, concern, eagerness and strobg determination. Its amazing to witness these tennis great rivals playing together as one on court uniting to win the game. What a great moment we only witness once a year. We hope to see more of laver cup in the coming years.
After watching so many Rafa and Roger discussing tactics while playing together, I never expected Nadal to be so dominant in discussions! They work well together. It"s so amazing that we can, as spectators, literally hear and see them discussing. And they seem so relaxed and themselves, so different from all the post match interviews which are all the same and boring.
Roger has always deferred to him when it comes to Tennis bc of his tennis IQ. It's just like football - you defer to Messi for his football IQ. He always said this. He always said Rafa was the one who made him great at Tennis and he started practicing and enjoying it because of him. You need to see their post match interviews together or their matches for charities which is a lot. They do have a lot of fun together. Also, Roger shows up for Rafa too for his Tennis Academy (especially now that the ACADEMY is standing) but you will see a lot more videos of Rafa supporting Roger for his charities all over the world.
Perfect and eternal Rivals, and most important, perfect and eternal friends! The way they understand, respect and admire each other is amazing and beautiful!!! I'm Spanish so I'm obviously in love with Rafa, but I admire Federer so much too. My first and my second favorite players of all the time!! ALWAYS IN MY HEART, YOU ARE THE BEST 💙💙💙💙 I'm going to cry very hard when they retire.
The conversation between Fognini and Fedal needs to go for the records because it shows that Fognini can't learn champion attitude even when being coached by TWO LIVING LEGENDS.
es impresionante roger dando consejos a nadal, nadal a roger , entre todos intercambian opiniones , ideas y soluciones independiente del nivel tecnico y tactico.
Don’t know how I enjoy the Laver Cup more than Davis Cup! Maybe it’s not only about how good they are as individual but also as a team. I see love, support their teammates, and joy on every face, from both teams. A heartwarming exhibition tournament to me.. Love Laver Cup! Especially the 2019. Thank you v much for posting this Have a nice day🙂Stay healthy.
we need a comedy show with these two just commentating tennis matches, after they retire. they could both speak in two diff languages to make it that much more fun
Нам несказанно повезло, мы живём в эпоху трех величайших спортсменов века, если не тысячелетия... Рафа, Новак, Федерер(в любом пррядке) - спасибо парни
Roger and whoever he teamed up with to come up with this idea was brilliant. To see the top players competing against each other in this kind of setting while also playing with each other and allowing coaching is really cool. Also getting the prize money so high so quickly is a testament to the popularity of Federer. Once he created this and played it crowds sold out everywhere, every time. Then he was able to expand and pay guys like Rafa to be involved and so engaged. Also google how Federer got involved with On. He really is a brilliant businessman
It's very funny to see such different guys, a Switzerland gentleman, and a Spanish "pirate", talking that friendly and confident way. Rafa is so impulsive and Roger very calm and reflexive, that mixed both together, they make a funny speech couple.
Goshh such a legends... both are such high level that with 2 words they understand each other and agree... and both game planers + true leaders ; showing how must be done properly
