Rogue - All Scenes Powers | X-Men Movies Universe 

I like rogue...she was a powerful mutant...her ability to absorb powers and life force is really intense...at first she didn't know how to control it properly and to be honest she still did at times but all that changed afterwards once she was able to gain control over her abilities

Anna Paquin did a great job as Rogue. I wish she was utilized more...but that can be said about all the x-men aside from wolverine lol...

She is the first mutant to appear in the X men movies and also the last to die in X men days of future past. She is something important in the whole X-Men universe.

The actress who played Rogue won an Oscar when she was 11 which is very impressive

Fox did Rogue dirty in the X-Men movies. She was way more badass in the comics. Hopefully the MCU is able to do the character justice on the big screen at some point. Same with Storm.

Amazing how much Anne Paquin has changed over the years, from a teenager in X-men (2000) to a young adult in X2 (2003) and a young woman in Days of Future Past (2014).

I would have preferred if they kept the Rogue cuts in the movie, and the fact that she needed to stay in touch with the mutant to use the power it was kind of... well, they should have only used theese in the first movie

To be honest, if they ever released the extended cut of X-Men: The Last Stand, the alternate ending of Rogue not taking the cure, would have made perfect sense. That would be an amazing and heartwarming scene of Rogue saying this is who she is and that she chose not to take the cure. Bobby and Rogue would give each other a hug. Also, in the deleted scene of X-Men 2, Rogue helps some students escape during Stryker's attack on the mansion. Which also gives her a bit more character development. Oh and my name is Sam Katawazi btw, and I'm a huge X-Men and Marvel fan. Please make me feel welcome.

Rouge is and will forever be under appreciated in the X-men universe.

Rogue takes abilities human or mutant. If she absorbed the energy of a kung-fu master, for a time she should technically be a kung-fu master.

Hope to see Anna Paquin's Rogue developed into a more badass Southern belle in the future when they make in X-Men/MCU film.

They truly under-utilised the whole storyline of this character ✌️and even if i remove the captain marvel accident still have lots to be covered like mystique using her,joining the academy but not as a student,then that other background of gambit,only thing i think they retained was in the xmen where magneto used her as a medium to transfer the power,this has quite the similarity to comics,the reason they were aware of each other ✌️

Rogue’s powers were criminally underutilized in the movies 😢

They wanted to cut it because they said it took away the urgency of what was happening. But they still had to fight off the sentenals long enough for things to rewrite, they could have left it in there, there would have been no loss of urgency. In fact it added urgency because rogue had to get there before kitty got too weak to carry on. we also would have had a poetice ending to this part of the story. I mean rogue and Logan together at the beginning and the end of this timelines story. I dont see why they removed it. Rogue is one of my favorite mutants in marvel so maybe I am biased, but I think the addition of present day tension, beyond tense discussion and the final battle would have added greatly to the storyline.

It's so frustrating to know that Anna Paquin can literally play the Rogue we loved in the animated series but I know that the MCU won't make her reprise her role.

So Rogue had this side story going on throughout the franchise, where she wanted to enjoy her relationship with Bobby, but couldnt go "all the way" and even got a little jealous of Bobby getting closer with Kitty Pride I think. If her gloves stopped her from soul sucking people, why not check out an XXX store? Full body latex should be familiar to her (being a superhero and all). But seriously, there are ways to have a physical relationship

I'm just going to come out and say it here, i think that rogue needs to get her own live action movie or even her own cartoon as well. It would be great to see how she became a mutant and got her powers.

it would have been a good idea if rouge absorbed the powers of M for anyone who doesn’t read the comics M (Monet Yvette Clarisse ) is a mutant with super strength and flight and other abilities instead of getting her powers from ms marvel who she got her super strength and flight from originally in the comics she gets it from M instead we needed bad ass rouge from the comics Here’s the scenario M is a test subject held by Stryker in x2 he sends her to finish off the other mutants on the x jet pryo and iceman try to fend her off but she proves to much for them rouge latches onto her absorbing her powers permanently i always hated the film portrayal of rouge shy and weak and important detail they miss in the films rouge doesn’t just absorb powers but also their memories and thoughts once she absorbs M powers permanently she could have gained a little bit of M personality making her more confident

Your telling me she was in days of future past?! Wtf?! She was had a huge part in Logan’s character arc. Kinda stupid she wasn’t in it. It would’ve been fitting

Them removing Rogue from the story never made a damn bit of sense. The sentinels never would've had the power they did with just Mystique's power. Honestly, Mystique's power would be pretty useless to the sentinels. She can only mimic appearance, not power. Everything that made them dangerous in this movie came from Rogue, not Mystique.
