I've seriously fallen in love with all of them it's such a shame that they were cast for a standalone film; would love to see more of them together over the years.
James Survier It sure is. I really felt for these characters so much that I would have loved to see them in another movie. Unlike the Force Awakens whose characters I couldn't have cared less about.

"A Mexican in Star Wars...!" YES!!! Im so pleased they included varied ethnicity in this film... imagine 2 Asian actors in Star Wars !!! And I always knew that Mr. Ip Man was like a Jedi! ahahhahahhahahh Of course, I get to appreciate Riz Ahmed in this film and I am a big fan of Madz Mikkelsen!
They really nailed it with the cast on this movie. I could tell when watching the movie that they had good chemistry. Great bad guys and great good guys
These guys actually seem like very enjoyable actors. I actually don’t want their characters to die in Rogue One. Rogue One: Yeah, but their gonna! Oh no…
This movie is an example of how you handle diversity. I don't give a crap if 4 white guys [EDIT: I realized one was black but the point remains] were in the first Ghostbusters because they were talented. If you want to revisit that, give me talent over agenda. For Rogue One, these people worked not because they were diverse in every way, but really because they were talented. Besides maybe Donnie Yen's character, they all could have been played appropriately as white men, but they weren't. Maybe diversity was a small aspect of the casting, but it seems to me that good characters with talented actors was prioritized. I'd rather have a well told story over agenda driven propaganda. Thank you Star Wars.
Actually, it IS important that the cast was diverse because the themes of the recent Star Wars films include inclusiveness and peace amongst the galaxy. Why is inclusiveness and diversity such a "political agenda" to you? When movies have themes of "follow your dreams!" or "be yourself!", no one calls those "agendas".
daylite34 Agenda is basically synonymous with Reason or Motive. So really, an agenda correlates very strongly with a theme. WW2 films with themes if good triumphing over evil have a pro-Allied Forces agenda. Agenda isn't really a bad thing until it's conflicting or even simply unrelated to the theme. That's the issue I take with it because it's a distraction for the director to create a uniform, cohesive story and fit the audience to just understand or care. In short, if a polarizing agenda is necessary, do it and don't beat people over the head with it.
This is the best cast of any movie in all of 2016....besides Fantastic Beasts of course but YEAH And finally some truly diverse people in one cast AWESOME
I know Diego is already with somebody but a magnetic force inside me is pushing me closer and closer to shipping him and Felicity. They look great together!
Marvel and DC this is how you make s movie with a diverse cast Not turning white characterd into black characters BTW Felicity and Diego have become my favorite Star Wars characters toobbad we won't see nore of them
