The relative lack of response K gets from the Imperials leads me to suggest that sassy absent-mindedness isn't totally out of character for the wider Imperial droid pool.
@@larrypoppins6273 Having a comedic relief character being one that people care about is important imo. His death was about as sad as the deaths of the rest of them.
@tincho none taken. Trust me. I feel like new Spock when he said I do not know. Just one day caught her out in a miss sent text and it spiralled from there. Until she gave the whole you deserve better speech. I wanted to preserve the friendship so agreed to let her go from relationship but now we hardly speak at all. Or maybe it was fact I was a soccer supporter and she didn't like it taking up so much of my time. 🤷
*sigh* stormtrooper are very good soldiers and have extremely good aim, the only reason they miss so much is because they are ordered to let their targets live
@@spacecore2972 whatever makes you sleep better. I would call it plot armor convenience, but if you have make it into inner logic. Sure there were always ordered to always miss all those characters in all those movies. So stormtroopers being conscripted bad trained levy theory is dead by now?
@@spacecore2972 oh yeah, remember that time on endor? I am sure they were ordered to lose those cute armed with sticks teddy bears on purpose as well. I bet papa Palpi was tired of ruling am Empire end secretly wish to die.
If only K-2SO had uploaded his programming to that other k-series security droid and just bloody well spread like a virus throughout all the k-series droids on scarif, could've given the rebels an edge and might've gotten him and the other characters out of there. I still sort of have a headcanon that K-2SO uploaded his ass and a group of k-series with his programming appropriated a lone Raider-class corvette and escaped right before scarif went boom, joining a mercenary group or something
I have to wonder if R2-D2 has anything at all to do with K2's attitude....There are many responses from R2 that don't require much imagination to interpret.
That would have been a fun sercanio and would better explain why battle droids were outlawed and the empire doesn't use them. Because they are easily able to be reprogrammed and sabotage a whole army to turn against their own
Stratowind well it doesn’t really count. And having it said from a droid is very unusual for Star Wars. It pretty much shows Rian Johnson is not a true fan of it.
because the director who made this movie actually was passionate about star wars j.j. abrams first movie showed he was actually afraid to make something new, ryan johnson's movie showed he actually did not really feel what star wars was about and J.J. Abrams last movie shows he was again, just not trying to step on anyones toes(in the last case though to be fair, it probably could have not done better after such 2 movies) and overall both directors did not really know or feel star wars. as for a solo story, the idea was great, thing is, you do not just replace harrison ford, the plot is not as amazing as it could have been and overall it would have been better as an animated movie with ford doing solo's voice acting.
@@Turbulation1 BB-8 says it in a context that makes more sense than the other times in the Sequels, since saying you have a "bad feeling" about something means you feel like something bad might happen but you're not sure what, while in TRoS and TFA there's pretty much only one scenario that could happen when the phrase is said.
J.J. wanted to dick ride Original Trilogy nostalgia without making a meaningful addition to the Saga as a whole. Rian saw this and thought he could "subvert expectations" by pulling things out of his ass to confuse the audience, expecting things to go his way and his way only. But the Rogue One producers? They knew what they were making. They knew how to tell their own story without relying on sucking the OT's dick for nostalgia.
Best droid ever. No 3POesque panic button, he's totally honest, and a good egg. When he died it hurt. 4:00 is my favorite scene for him. It illustrates his personality flawlessly.
@milk BOTTOM TEXT Blame the dreadful plot armour for the boring heroes of the Original Trilogy, not the stereotype that has arisen over 40 years later.
So, is noone gonna talk about how K picked up a storm trooper like a baby, slammed the stormtrooper's ASS into two others, threw him into another, then spun around so fast and shot the last trooper like he had the fastest hand in the west?
