I don't even play SC2 and I can tell that last game was one of the best I'll ever see

"Catching this queen in the wrong part of town" I laughed a bit too much at this

I've watched competitive SC2 for what seems like a decade now. I can confidently say game 4 is the absolute best match I've ever seen. Watching this whole tournament live was something very special indeed. You will not find another game in SC2 history pre-2018 where both competitors plays were near perfect. Yes, you may find a hectic game, but they're full of mistakes. Serral and Rogue attacked and defended amazingly well. Their performance was high level and never dropped for THIRTY MINUTES!

Serral just picked him apart... it was so nice to watch live. My heart was pumping! I loved the part at 8:49 when we switched to Serral's first person view. Most pros are impressive, but that was just something else. His control is out of this world.

While his series against stats was the best sc2 series I have ever seen, the single best match I have seen was the final game of this series. This may be only my second favorite, but it was the most amazing ZvZ I have ever seen. This year had so many amazing games, many with serral in them. Raynor. Has. *All* the times he faced Lambo. This game vs rogue. The grand finals. I can go on for quite awhile talking about this year.

"Can we see a repeat?" "Yeah sure" this was the only reason Stats was allowed to win a couple of games.

This is the best Z v Z match played ever in all SC2 history.

Top quality play. The fourth game was insane. It was kind of enjoyable to see Rouge's steamroller tactics fall short against Serral's efficiency. On the other hand, it is sad to see someone lose in a gamestyle where he thought he was unbeatable. Just how far the resources lost tabs were in the end, I wonder? It seemed Rouge never faced an opponent like this. When he tried to throw the finishing blows, he failed again and again. He tought he could afford it, because he mined so much before, but now the opponent had plenty of resources in reserve. Serral will wear you down on the long run, no matter what you do. His face looked so drained in the end. He was clearly bested, but there is no shame in it, he played very well.

Honestly one of if the most impressive display of Starcraft from Serral... this match was just AMAZING

Rogue doing those "OOF" twice was very tell telling

Remember that Serral was only the 3rd best foreign player in 2017 behind Neeb and Elazer but Elazer fell off a bit in 2018, Neeb remained about the same and Serral blew up to a god level.

Jaedong would be so proud of both players. I just wish the subscription list did not spoil the grand finals. spoiler: I would really like to hear rogue's comments post game. I don't think hes ever faced a zerge of any origin like this before.

This is the best SC2 match of all time in my humble opinion!

In the last game, Rogue held the top left base for a long time but he never mined a single gas from it. He was going broke on gas at the end of the game and that's what ended up being his downfall was in lack of gas. Why he didn't see that coming and why he didn't take into account how cost efficient Serral could be, I don't know. He had a ton of minerals, he should have been mining gas like crazy, especially considering how many workers he had and how much he desperately needed gas to win the game!

I play basketball competitively in college. I haven't played Starcraft in my life. But something about this Serral guy is so amazing, I just can't stop watching his game...

My god, Serral just kept that last game going to prove a point. He could have won at any time past the 20 minute mark, but he wanted to show how much he can outclass his rival in the lategame. It was almost... impolite

Is it just me that thinks that pig should be way bigger and casting WAY more than he is? He is a build order and meta machine, and has incredibly intellectual insight on what's really happening.

I wish these spectator camera angles were available in game, no advantage with fog of war just a nicer camera angle zoomed right out

This reminds me of that day, when I was working at Subway, my mate had called in sick so I was there, all on my own. Everything was fine, until a whole soccer team came and ordered 24 foot longs, in the middle of the frenzy my girlfriend called to tell me she was pregnant. I went to the back to cry a little, and then when I was wiping my tears I remembered I had chilli in my hands. I called the manager and told him I was done, when I got home, I was feeling a little better, but then my girlfriend called again, to tell me she was sorry, the kid wasn't mine. I was so happy I cried again.

The commentators misread Rogue's expression after Game 2. Rogue was thinking, "Wow, Serral gifted me a map by rushing. I barely plugged the ramp or I would have died. I'll take it."

For me this zvz was grand finals, after that matches i off stream. Its simple only Rogue could stop Serral, best zvz in global finals!!!

rogue survived impressively long in the fourth game! just goes to show how evenly matched these pros are. It is only small differences and marginal mistakes that decides who is the winner and who is the loser.
