Imagine if you had these commentators commentating your life: The alarm goes off at 8AM, it's another standard day here in California. John decides to hit the snooze button but this is going to really cost him later on. He doesn't know his boss Sam is preparing to talk about lateness in the team in this month's team review. John finally gets up and decides to get a coffee. Unfortunately, he spills it and has to change his shirt. This is going to cost him another 3 minutes. On the other side of the town, Sam is getting into his car already.... epic

These 2 have the be the best caster ever. Whatever sport or esport or anything you watch. The way that they never interrupt each other but continue talking is very impressive and only something you can do after you have worked with someone for many years.

I think the biggest thanks should go to Serral's brother, for never letting him win as a kid, instilling the mentality of always trying your hardest with every move, from a very young age.

As a Korean who is a fan of StarCraft, I feel very good. As non-Korean gamers win the StarCraft 1 tier tournament such that WCS Global Finals, I hope that the world knows that StarCraft is not a game that only Koreans can play. I would like to thank Serral. It was a good match to know his greatness.

Makes me happy knowing Geoff was still around to see this piece of starcraft history unfold. Looking at the VODs just puts a smile on my face knowing Geoff got to witness this before his life abruptly ended in July 2019.

As a Starcraft fan and Korean I've been watching SC1, SC2 since 20 years ago. Serral is unbeatable, he's just perfect..now i hope to see a lot more international gamers like him compete against Korean gamers..and maybe someday we don't need to separate Korean vs others anymore. Also it's too bad that Reynor couldn't make to Blizcon this time. Well anyway now SC2 is getting more interesting than ever. Thank you Serral, you've rewrote the Starcraft history.

The best nonkorean in sc ever, and relatively to skill, probably the best zerg historically and now. Serral is a god, the more you know about the game , the more you see the perfection.

It was awesome to be there for this. I didn't leave the Starcraft hall all weekend and was completely shocked when SOS rocked Maru, but I couldn't leave. I'm glad Serral is so terrifying and it was awesome to be in the dead center front to see it happen. Looking forward to see how next year shakes out.

god this was an interesting series, the skills on this finnish man is just awe-inspiring, after all my years as a sc fan to see a scandinavian dominate this hard woul've never come to mind as a scandinavian. Though the only thing that makes me sad is that TotalBiscuit was not here to see it, after all his years of supporting the community wanting foreigners to fight on the same level as koreans consistently, it truly is a shame that the man that kept my love for this game going so strong for so long didn't get to see this incredible piece of SC history.

One thing has to be said, which isn't nearly mentioned enough and that's how good the commentators are on all these events. It's one of the main reasons I like watching SC2 matches. These two guys cover the matches amazingly, are very funny to listen to, and give great insight for people like me who isn't an SC2 savant by any means. Great job guys and girls!

I only stumbled upon this video, it's been awhile since I've been into SC but this has reinvigorated my interest into the game. I grew up playing Starcraft 1 casually and it will always have a place in my heart. Life's win in 2014 convinced us that Zergs can win the big one, Sos' win in 2015 proved that it can be done more than once in a lifetime, Byun's win in 2016 made it clear that you can train and grow alone and take it all as a terran, Rogue's win in 2017 showed that when the time is right, you can seize the moment, and now, Serral's win has allowed a wave of hope and inspiration to take any non-Korean player by storm.

By far, bar none, the single best series in all of starcraft. I got to see it live on twitch and we were nearing 130k viewers. I was literally on the edge of my seat. And now, nobody can deny something I have advocated since the beginning at leipzig. Serral... is the best. Now to make my prediction for next year: Lambo or Raynor.

They need to make a maru vs serral small championship. People would pay to see it.

To imagine I was once or twice his admin years ago on assembly asus rog, to see same guy suddenly kicking the living sh#t outta nation in their own game, no disrepect of course, there was time when finnish people were already super proud of themselves if they beat a korean only once. Amazing game by Serral, juggeling all those zerg units is not an easy task. I love Starcraft from when I was a kid playing the solo campaign, to playing competitivly in SC2. I will continue to play with much enjoyment in 2019!
