Collins Ongaya That's a misquote. I just saw Attack of the Clones the other day because why not, and you completely misquoted his line. Also, the prequels only really had bad dialogue between the Anakin and Padme cringe scenes. Rogue One on the other hand was just boring garbage with characters I didn't care for and was glad were killed, and probably had the worst dialogue/script in the whole franchise. Attack of the Clones was okay, bad dialogue, mediocre acting and some cheesy fight scenes, especially the Obi Wan and Jango fight. But I have to say, the beginning of the movie was pretty great (Anakin and Obi Wan chasing after Zam Wessel). Always loved that chase sequence as a kid.

Cassian telling her that he is fighting the empire since the age of six made her shut up. Maybe this made Jyn realize how pathetic she was by avoiding this galaxy-wide conflict for that many years. "Gerrera as a witness" well.. Gerrera (who is basically a cripple) sacrificed himself because he knew that he would definetly slow them down escaping Jedha. I bet they wouldn't have made it with him. It was really close. She should have taken the message though. :D

Both good points. I'd still be furious with Cassian for being set-up, though, no matter how justified he felt in doing it. Just me. Thinking about it, I agree with you on the Gerrera point. My real problem is with the Alliance not taking their word as gospel about the attack/message, really. With or without the message/Gerrera, Cassian just escaped with his life. By vouching for Jyn, the both of them should've been able to rally more support with the Alliance council than their almost total dismissal. I felt there were far more reasons for the council to hear them out than not.

Yes I would be furious too. Jyn's behaviour and also how nobody of the crew said anything about what just happened was indeed kinda awkward. Definetly one of the weaker scenes of the movie but I wouldn't call it terrible. About the thing with the alliance: First of all I don't think that it was an "almost total dismissal". Some of them went with her and as far as I know, most of the rebels were just sceptical and not fully against her and Cassian (who might even have a bad reputation because after all he is kind of an asshole who has no probem with backstabbing his allies). But I guess there was a small minority that didn't trust her at all. I recall one person saying "can we even trust her?" or something like that but that was basically it. And don't forget the rebels are pretty much split up and don't agree with each other. However .. now there is one IMPORTANT detail that I think you misinterpreted. The main reason why most of the rebel alliance dismissed or didn't support Jyn is NOT because they didn't trust her or didn't believe her or Cassian's story. It was because Jyn proposed to use the rebel fleet and basically all the forces they can gather to attack Scarif immediately and YES it has to happen immediately with no real time to plan the attack because Krennic already knows. It's like a race for the death star plans. I don't know about you man ... but if I was one of the rebels .. Would I trust her and believe in her story? YES. I mean after all, the alliance council kinda hired her and Cassian to get some information. Would I agree with her in using the entire rebel forces to attack Scarif right NOW? Hell no! That's just too fucking risky. Especially considering there's a SHIELD protecting this damn thing. And what if they don't find the plans at all? Seems like there is almost no probability of success. So the rebel alliance was actually quite reasonable by dismissing her proposal of a suicide mission. Am I defending this movie too much? Fuck. I don't know anymore. xD Whatever... The new Pirates of the Caribbean movies aren't necessarily bad either, but compared to the first 2-3 they aren't great. The ending with Darth Vader had so much promise. But it might as well have been Darth Vader Lvl 100 vs Generic Cardboard Cutouts canon fodder Lvl 1. Would have been much better for a battle between the Rogue One team & Vader. We have the plans, we have to transmit then, hopefully someone will intercept them (Where are those transmissions you intercepted). Vader appears. Jyn Erso, "Rogue One & you canon fodder guys we have to stop him to allow time for the transmission to be picked up by someone". The band of misfits who have been kicking arse as they have "a very particular set of skills. Skills we have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make us a nightmare for people like you", think they can stop Vader. Then Vader just cuts them down like a hot knife through butter. Chirrut "i am one with...." cut down without so much as a how do you do. They will known the true power of the darkside. Jyn & Cassian die thinking they have not succeeded. But, no. He slowly walks towards the Generic Cardboard Cutouts taking them out one at a time. Maybe Vader had a plan all along. Allow the plans to be taken. Allow the Death Star to be destroyed. Allow Luke to become powerful. Have Luke kill the emperor. Rule the gaxlay as father & son.

Honestly the movie was kinda shitty, I ended up not caring about the story so much and watching Vader just murder people was rather satisfying. I'd honestly wish the Star Wars movies would have more lightsaber fights, or Sith/Jedi just destroying normal guys, like the cinematic cutscenes of The Old Republic, those were pretty awesome.

Adrijana Radosevic Why would anyone have to fear Vader if there's absolutely nothing that shows why he was feared by the rebellion. That scene shows why he was a threat to the rebellion. That's what I thought at least.
