Installation of the Rok Bagoros stunt handlebar on the KTM 390 Duke.
I would recommend that the clutch cable skips the top bracket by the handlebar as the bars are a little wider than stock, so this allows you to regain this - the stock cable doesn't have much extra length in it.

I know your videos have been up for a long time now and I would just like to say thank you. When I first got my bike in 2018 I just learned to do a few small things as needed. Now, I needed to learn a lot after being in a wreck a few weeks ago. Luckily my 390 Duke was and is still ridable and currently fixing her as I receive parts. Thanks to you I have the confidence to do all these simple fixes instead of paying someone.

Hey David! I don't know if you have a comparison point between the stock and the Bagaros bars, but I am trying to figure out the advantages or disadvantages of having less sweep and a bit more width. I am not interested in stunting, just street riding and twisties. Will I get more or less leverage on the bars? Will my wrists be more comfortable with the straighter bars? I know this can all be subjective, but someone else's input can be very valuable. Cheers!

Well I've never used the stock bars - they were bent when I bought the bike, so you have to take that into account. But I would say that these are comparable to bars I've used on other bikes and I've never had any issues, never noticed any strain on my arms or wrists even on long rides etc. These are not stunt bars as such just normal bars from Magura. I think the current generation of Bagoros bars are similar but I can't comment whether they are the same. Overall I'm very happy with them and would not hesitate to buy them again - I think on a bike with a more upright seating position, I prefer a straighter bar.

Duke 390 is a very common bike in India. but the service done in dealerships are very poor. may be a a complete service video of the Duke 390 would be great.

Awesome videos, I am working my way through all of them. Is there any way to remove the threaded inserts located at the ends of the stock handlebars on the 390? I have tried several methods but it feels almost like they are welded in place. If not, I know these bars no longer seem to be available, but what would be the closest Magura one in terms of shape. Perhaps someone has replaced the standard ones with a different set of bars like a Pro Taper model? Thanks

Thanks. The inserts feel welded in - because they are! The welds will knock loose with a bit of force or use a hole cutter of the right size. In practice you can often reuse that fitting for whatever you are adding simply by replacing the bolt in the mirrors etc. I'm not entirely sure why KTM specced a dirt bike handlebar for the small Dukes. I'm not sure Magura still make a bar of the right dimensions, but I think Pro Taper do and I've certainly seen people who have used them.

Hi Mark, Magura seem to only make them in batches so if you want this precise bar which includes the mounting holes then you'll have to wait for the next batch. Otherwise any of the XLine should fit the bike and you can either drill a hole or remove the locating stud from the throttle control - normally this works fine.

Hello I really need to know what torque specs are for the 2 big silver bolts on the bottom handle bar clamp and the 4 black bolts on the top handlebar clamps. Thank you this would really help a ton.

Handlebar fitting M10 21 Nm Handlebar clamp if M8 - I think M6 then they are 20 Nm with Loctite 243, if M6 then 10 Nm.

Great video. Waiting myself for the Bagoros handle bar. One question tough. I have bar end mirrors, will the ancher bolts work for installation ? For mirrors is also a M6 bolt as I recall. Thank you

Hello David!Great video! My handlebar has a inner diameter of 25mm.M6 anchor plugs didn't work for my bar end weights as they were too small.Is there any other way of installing bar end weights?

I’m in this situation where I got the oem handlebars and when I got to putting the brakes on. The wiring master cylinder got bend and I can’t put the brake back on. How can you do this.

You may need to remove the handlebar again - it can sit loose while you sort out and untwist the brake unit so it fits properly. Hard to say more without seeing it. Good luck!

Hello, I need your help. Will the stock bars from a 2018 duke 250 fit a 2015 duke 200? Do all of the dukes 125/200/250/390 share the same handbars, even though the bike has been restyled? Thank you, great video!

It's designed for the bike, so it comes with the holes for both gen 1 and gen 2 bikes. Skäl David

These tend to have different names depending where you live. Sometimes called shield anchors - just try searching expanding metal anchor bolts and something should come up.

With your help i was able to fix fork/clamp alignment, change the bars, and change the levers right and left all without any issues. I've got the bagoros crash protection parts coming soon and will be installing those at your recommendation.

If you want to keep the retaining pin then you need to drill a hole. If you don't want to drill a hole you need to remove the retaining pin - but check first that it will clamp on well enough without it - normally they do. Good luck!

can you give me another handlebar name or company which can fit my duke 390 2019 model because I order one and it doesn't have that hole on the right side where that throttle control clips on.

These are off road bike handlebar sizing so companies like pro taper will sell - but none will have the hole. You either drill it yourself or more usually you remove the locating spike from inside the controls - if they are done up tightly the controls don't rotate and many if not most bikes don't have them anyway!
