ROLAND AIRA SYSTEM-1 & Plug-out SH-101 DEMO by Katsunori UJIIE. Facebook: Like me please! / musictrack.jp What kind of music gear do you have? " musictrack gear " is now ready to open !! gear.musictrack...
thx for your test! Somehow I think they should have put it into a JP-8000 housing. A decent keybed with velocity sensitivity is something that should be standard these days. The technology gets better all the time but the usability gets worse because of price tags that have to be reached.
Finally one person with ears in the head...! Yes, tha´ts the fact... the rest saying that the System-1 is crap and so are snob points of views of people thinking what the others say they must think about things
nice review as usual, but why the hell guys like you saying it sounds the same. even with delay/reverb there was noticable difference between digital plug out and SH 101. you cant compare legendary synth with some emulation which doesnt sound same at all ;)
I have both the Roland SH-101 and the System-1. "To me", I don't think the SH-101 plugout on the System-1 sounds at all like an SH-101. Frankly, it's all very digital sounding to me. The System-1 on it's own merits and not compared to the SH-101 is a nice synth. The Plug-Out does however sound different than the regular System-1 sound so you do get a different module in that sense. It's just not an SH-101, and in my opinion by far. Perhaps more tweaking is involved, but out of the box, nope.
zethib Would he get to review the synths if he said its crap? :) Ive watched many of his vids and I think Ive never heard him say anything negative about any gear.
just throw to his face that "he is biased by his lack of objectivity" and that "he is wrong" and won't say it because he has been bought instead of writing me about it.
The System-1 only sounds similar to the SH-101. It does NOT sound the same like he is saying in the video. Sys-1 does not sound very good, espescially bass sounds imho.
