It's important to note the significance of turning off the "MIDI Tx All Notes off" setting. Every time you use your LA Synthesizer, such as Roland D-10 or D-50, this setting is turned on by default. In some devices or VST plugins, the notes cut out abruptly when you release the key. It feels like a stutter, and it sounds unnatural.

I had no success. I just have a USB to midi cable and I think it doesn't support my latest OS (it did work before though). I ordered an Akai usb controller. All in all still a success (Thank you again) as I had cause to explore some of my synth plugins, and it got me to pull the trigger on a compact key controller which will be much more practical for my current applications. @@junksmith_wizard
