Problem; When I'm in the Init user group setting, I don't have access to all those rhythm patterns. When I push enter it just says Init user group and nothing changes. Am I missing something, is there a way to load the preset patterns so you can use them in the Init user group? I'd really like to be able to piece together a rhythm pattern from different types of patterns, that are already in the Fantom O.

Do you have the focus on the intro, verse etc. before you press enter to select the corresponding pattern? At the top you choose the group, which you can also save and by default there are not user group defined. At the bottom you define what patterns you use for each verse, ending etc. when you finished you can then save the group and it will appear next time in the user category…

Not directly in the rhythm pattern, but you can do all of that in the sequencer

At creation time? Yes… using the sequencer… as that gives you more options…

Did you check you have drums on channel 10? Also you need to ensure you are pointing to channel 10 or a channel where there are drums

@@soundformore thank you. In single sound mode, I have to add drums on chanel 10? I did a keyboard reset, and everything's fine, but I have a lot of setups (backed up, of course), and have to restore it. But i tried to see what will happen.

Yeah. I saw. All zones above zone 8 are darker (in zone edit mode), but I don't know why, and how to take them back.

Unfortunately, we can't create our own Patterns.

No we cannot through the Rhythm Pattern as we couldn’t on the FA series. However calling patterns containing drum patterns through the pads might be the solution… there is another tutorial coming on this
