Multitracked demo of Roland JV-2080. Eventide Space used for additional reverb. All JV-2080 demos in one track available in Bandcamp: panums.bandcamp.com/track/rol...
I swear, the JV-2080 is heavily slept on nowadays. It’s so worth the price for a module and some expansion boards, seeing as how you can do things like this. I have plenty of vintage modules in my home studio, and the JV-2080 is by far one of the best choices I made.
got two of them with 01- pop, 02-Orc, 60's-70's ,Dance ,Techno, Session, EXp II, or has 01-pop ,orc -2 , spec FX, Country , my jd-990's both have 04- vintage synth's and a pr of jv -880's one with vintage synth
Again thank you for the beautiful demo. I also own a JV2080 (besides 3x JD990) and all of them have the Vintage Expansion. The JV2080 also has the Tecno Expansion which hides a lot of interesting wave forms. For some reason, people tend to have an aversion towards Romplers which imho is 'wrong' The JV2080 is a hidden gem and somehow it sounds very warm and silky, as shown in this demo. Current prices are very good and for about 250-300$/€ you can buy a lot of synth for no money. And there is also a very good free of cost CTRLR Panel editor available.
