Hopefully you get the gist of what I was trying to show you. The pitch at 72 rpm was a little lower than normal. The main thing is to hear how the quality changed. I'll have to make a future track using this method for sampling & see what comes out.
808 can slice the loops at the beat points (or free points, like a AKAI MPC) and you can use it as drum patch with pads. 808 is an universal device but difficult to handle in sampler mode.
you are supposed to speed up the record when you record it .. then pitch it down . The point is that you degrade the sample forcing the sampler to make up for the loss of audio quality .. since the sampler is dumb it just adds random noise which is what lofi is ..
I did speed up the record when I recorded each sample 3 times. Then I did pitch it down on the keyboard as seen. Each 33, 45, & 78 version was recorded onto seperate tracks. Pay close attention. Each Sampler has it's own character & lofi is an interesting topic too big to describe as random noise.
