@@rcs2003 how does it compare to jp8000? I read bad stuff about thee sh201, also in comparison to jp8000, but this patch i dont think i could know it was not the jp8000 if i heard it in an oldschool trance record

im considering one just because jp8000 is more expensive and harder to come by...how does it compare though, its got such a bad rep 201 compared to the jp8000 and just in general. Tnx

@@AnalogFlava it’s great. I second oldschoolebm666, it will really surprise you. I also had a Gaia, which I was so disappointed in compared to the sh-201. It craps on the Gaia. And actually the only thing that has a bad rep are the cheap looking silver abs knobs. They can be replaced

Wow! Harrdstylish! I thought it`s a cheap synth with a plastic sound... But now i can say it`s a bit underrated peace of gear!

I agree it sounds incredible. The build quality is awful and the silver plastic knobs really betray its capabilities and massive sound. The should have used the same synth engine in the sh-01 GAIA. Gaia looks so much better but sounds like crap

I’ve had an SH-201 for 16 years and it never once occurred to me to uses the double mode to double up and then just pan them.

Dayum that sounds delicious!. I have struggled to get anything close to that level of thickness and presence in my supersaw patches on my Ultranova. Do you have any pointers on programming this sort of sound with the Mininova you would be willing to share< if it is even possible to do so.>..or do ijust need to find a SH201 too.....

I never tried to copy the exact hoover sound from the alpha juno, but there is a hoover-like patch in my third soundset. About 6:43 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qnssLrrLq7Y.html
