Over 10 years of critical comments about Roland's products are finally paying off. Thanks for hearing the fans of classic Roland.

Borrowed one of these over a weekend and recorded 10 videos with it. It's really something special, you hear and feel it. But _why_ add a small empty plate to the "full" set? Why not a small MIDI-to-CV module? Possibly with a noise source.

Moog fans are probably not too happy about the Malekko CEOs comments about tuning vs the Roland System-100s. But I can't wait to hear more from this System 500.

This synth sounds wonderful, and feels like an instrument; absolutely vintage Roland; I hope they make more modules and don't leave it with just these 5. But, for Krist sake, man, fix that gap in the case!!! Who let this mismatch through quality control? It looks like they just grabbed an enclosure from the bargain bin and said, "close enough"

The new one is a nice sounding synth but the knobs and sliders felt really dodgy to me.

None too impressed, but they do sound good. The miniscule run of the faders is nowhere near enough for me. Such are the limitations of size. I am not a Eurorack owner, but aren't there way more interesting modules than these? Shame that the full name of the envelope generators (Attack Time, Sustain Level etc) couldn't be maintained but hey you can only write so much in such a small space.

Well, at least Malekko can't screw up the faceplates and change the design like they did with their euro rack modules. Their modules look like shit now...their old design was much better. Roland will slap the shit out of that clueless nincompoop Josh if he tries to mess with the faceplates.

I keep my sh 5, 3, mks 80, 70, 50, 10 & D50. New stuff sounds fake & cheap!

don't you just love how the Italians totally rip off moog and claim that roland is the king of the synthesizer for modular, what a crock, that's why I never buy into Italy.
