Roland's System-8 engine has several magical elements - but for me there is one magic sauce that beats all others - and it's about how to make the System-8 a highly expressive instrument.

holy moly 😮 will check that rn! thanks mate! EDIT: Works like a Charm. I dove deeper into the Key Settings and set the KBD Touch to Light and the Velo Offset to +8....damn, absolute new Instrument to me, as a Piano Player, the System 8 was always so unexpressive to me, but this changes everything, thanks for that 🐇🕳️ ❤️

After seeing a lot of negative reviews Is this worth the purchase as I like this But I have mixed feelings about it Help is needed to decide please

Can't respond to why you have mixed feelings about the System-8, but what I do know is that it is unique in the current Roland stable. It uses ACB for the plugouts, which is recognised as being much better than the ABM equivalent that you get in the Fantom or the -X synths. The S-8 engine itself is unique not found in any other Roland gear. So for example I have on my System-8 the Promars, the System-100 and the Jupiter-4 which gives me 4 unique engines not available in any other hardware (you can get DAW version). So that's why I'd recommend the System-8!

How many preset sounds are already loaded on it. It looks and sounds amazing but not sure on how many sounds are on it I'm torn between the System 8 and the sledge studio logic lol
