Very good video. I hope that Roland improves their Zenlab Android / Apple software to use with the MV-1. Also a new firmware update to unlock zen core edit for MV-1 !
Great content! Is the machine itself (MV-1) also registered with Roland cloud? In other words is it possibly to exchange sound files with another user/MV-1 who doesn’t use ZenBeats/ZenCore?
You don't need to register MV-1. You just need Roland cloud account with one of subscription options to get access to ZenologyPro and sound packs. Once you download the pack or export sound bank then it's yours. You can share .svz files with everyone who uses MV-1, MC707 or MC101. They are fully compatible. With the firmware version 1.80 you can also share midi or clip files between those devices. Roland cloud have also 30 days trial on Ultimate subscription version so it's worth to try even just for the sound packs.
The original sounds are in Verselab by default. You can also download sound packs from Roland Cloud and just copy/paste to your SD card. Or create/edit your own with Zenology Pro and save as yours. I made a wideo about it as well ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wdvz2gc6R9g.htmlsi=Qr0HqGrGL2l0rZ-R
So, if I pay for 1 month zenology Pro, and just download many synth sounds and stop paying. Can I still keep the sounds on my MV-1 SD-memory card ? the MV-1 does not have internet connections...... for Roland to check....
That's what I did. I downloaded sound packs for MV-1 to my harddrive and SD in Verselab but in addition I slightly altered some sounds from Zenology Pro sound packs to my custom sound bank and exported it as mine. As long as you have saved your pack in the right file format Verselab and other Zenology compatible gear will be able to read it.
