My favourite shot is the strings shot since it shows everyone's negative side. It shows how: Niki is still sad from what happened during the war (not dark but not happy). Ranboo was shot twice when he first joined. Tubbo has 2 cannon lives missing and is becoming Schlatt (horns). Ghostbur is very dead. Eret is still in power because of Dream; his crown is highlighted in red and he has strings attached. Fundy still sad about dead dad. Quackity is on 2 lives and has blood on his hands, could be butcher army reference or murderous tendencies (not sure) Sapnap is literally backstabbed by Dream. George only gets a crown when dream is shown pulling the strings. Also Tubbo, Eret, Fundy, Quackity, Sapnap and George are the only ones with strings attached. I think this is the levels that everyone is being manipulated by with Tubbo, Fundy and Quackity only have strings on their arms whereas Eret, Sapnap and George are wrapped in string. Also the line is "I truly like the art when I kinda hate the artist" at least to me means Tommy likes the people, just not the fact that they're being completely manipulated by Drean. I'm probably looking into it too much but that's just how I interpreted it. Also I would kill to draw anatomy that well.
I agree with you on everything except fundy, because fundy and dream are engaged and in their wedding George objected and ran off with dream so I thing in that particular scene the broken heart on Fundys chest represents the heartbreak he would’ve felt on the wedding

NOOOOOO this makes me feel really bad for Tommy's character, like all his family did terrible things and that's just how he grew up, having role models that influenced him to do the wrong things
in my opinion the only person tommy can trust right now ist Sam hes been like a father for tommy thats just my opinion tho because Literally some people (wilbur/techno/philza) left tommy [i think] except for sam and i guess captain puffy too [[ik its a rp]]

It's incredible how Tommy is the most loud and childish of the family but he's actually the only one who still faithful to l'Manberg and act as a hero to protect it and its people

The flag transition from Tommy to Wilbur was so well animated and the string image was absolutely awesome, I love Dream as the puppeteer. Everyone knows it's happening but it hasn't stopped yet.
I believe that Tommy’s arc was supposed to expose how much he depends on others. That’s obviously not what the entire arc was for, but that’s one of the things that came from it. It’s a good thing that that trait of his got exposed, but I think they could have built off of it more. What I mean is his character could have changed and became more independent after realizing how much he depended on others to succeed.
@@asura3229 if you mean him becoming more independent, then I don’t think it was shown then. He left Techno to join a entire _nation_ . He was more independent when he was with Techno and Phil.

idk why when i think about the plot and stuff it creeps me out. like the fact that tommy really looked up to wilbur and saying multiple times that he was really cool then wilbur plummeting into madness and blowing up lamanburg. Then dream is controlling and manipulating everyone including his own friends. in tommy’s recent stream when dream revealed that he was manipulating tubbo to be his friend only to get the discs back and gain all power and then teaming up with tecno after tommy betrayed tecno to destroy lamanburg entirely. i’m probably the only that feels this way lol

Also seeing transitions between before election Wilbur and post election Wilbur is really cool, and also sad... at least he’s cheerful in death, despite the cost. Although the whole revival thing is going terribly and has me worried.
All of your animatics are so well drawn and put together I can’t even begin to describe it, from the way all of it links together to the artstyle is just so pleasing to watch. You’ve got great things ahead and I’ll be here to see it work out
I don't see many people use AJR for animatics and things like that, if they do they usually do Bang!, so it really made me happy that I saw someone finally use a different song. I also really like the art

THIS IS SO WELL DONE!!! i love how tommy's expressions change, even when there aren't lyrics -- it gives him, and the video, so much life, and it's clear how much effort was put into it. i LOVED the transition from the disc to the compass, as well as the strings attached to everyone -- seriously, this is SO good. and as always, i'm a sucker for sbi angst :] definitely subscribing!!

I love basically everything about this, but the one thing I want to mention that I haven't seen other people comment on already is how well the audio is blended with the beginning and the ending of the song. Like, if I didn't recognize the song and how AJR sings the chorus of the song differently at the beginning vs the end of the song, I wouldn't have noticed. Obviously all the visuals are amazing, but I'd just be a broken record if I went into detail on all the cool visual stuff.
You know during Tommy’s exile when he said “because he’ll take the one thing I care about” we all knew he meant tubbo (idk I forgot I’ll edit it when I rewatch the stream)
