it is ..! I just wish they would make the hour and min hands dauphine hands like they have at the cellini .. and the glide lock was like it was on the submariner and not this extension link which is a bit too big when u extension it .. at 5mm instead of 2mm like it is at the sub

In the $10-15k range it’s one of the very best watches available today and I’m thrilled to own it.
Very good review. I was looking after a Datejust for a long time and always preferred the 36mm size but since I tried the 41mm with the Oyster Bracelet and the stunning blue dial I really wanna go for that one!
i tryed it today in rosegold.... it is awsome and 10000 $ for mew is not so expensive i mean..... it is a littlebit more expensive but it is Gold.... i started savig right now and hope in8 years will be on my wrist

Just tryed two tone rosegold, yes i like gmt and yaht but gmt have 1 hand extra and it is anoing too me. I like datejust and i hope i will buy one. It is good price watch.
Dylan can you please review a 36mm version of the datejust? I’m sure it will attract more male audience with smaller wrists. And I think 36mm with jubilee bracelet is timeless and classy. @@kaneomatic I would say it depends on your frame, if you're a smaller guy and it fits your body I say go for it and save the money and go with the smaller one versus paying extra for a bigger one
kaneomatic like the guy above said, it depends on your wrist and the color combination you go, darker color dials tend to make the watch look smaller while lighter ones larger.
Is the writing "ROLEX" a long the wall in the face of the Date Just 36 only on the 41? Or does it appear on all Rolex watches? I've noticed it on other Rolex's.

Not a showstopper not having anti reflective coating. Buy it and enjoy this beautiful classic watch Note as it’s pretty available as I see it in all the Hong Kong (June 21) AD showrooms. Don’t pay more than suggested RRP. Not seen any in the Grey watch sites either of the latest 41DJ (except overpriced steel versions) Two Tone is the way forward 👍
Matt Stevens I have tried Datejust 2 and Datejust 41, the 41 is only slightly smaller but looks better. It was difficult handing the 41 back to the sales assistant haha.
All 3 model's are great daily driver's ! I would go with the 116710BLNR. Dylan, how about a steel AP RO Chrono 41mm blue or white dial review ? And if you ever get your hands on a 5711/1P (40th, platinum, baguette-diamond hour markers) ...
Jason Yeldell he didn’t say it looked feminine, he said it looked “more” feminine than they oyster bracelet, which is understandable since the jubilee is supposed to look more delicate and refined than the aforementioned.

Alex M Try one with a smooth bezel, and oyster bracelet. I agree that the fluted bezel looks a bit tacky, 1970's car dealer style. Smooth bezel is modern and classy.
