How do people mistreat a quality watch to that extent. Don't they know the concept of a beater watch. Obviously got more money than sense. Meticulous and skillful repair with excellent equipment. The refurbishment is every bit as well crafted as the original.

fantastic work!! can i ask did you build your own lapping and grinding machine? they are so expensive to buy i have thought about building one.

Thanks 🙏 Yes, a lot of my machines are in house constructions or specially built for my belongings. Unfortunately my machines are not cheaper than if you buy a lapping machine from one of the professional supplier’s.

They are not bad, I worked years with a PUK! But a high accurate and fast laser welder is a different world, think you can’t compare both technology’s, the laser will win in watchmaking with light years in front.

How can that bracelet be in soo poor shape after 20 years.. On my 2006 colt the bracelet has just a very slight wear and on my 2006 chronomat evolution the bracelet is like brand new with zero stretching and wear.

I think every time you aply grinder to the surfaces you take out to much material, I mean when grinding the case, you took out a massive amount of material...

Grinding could even be done with 1 micron lapping paper. You are not even be able to measure it. Polishing takes material away.
