Actually Rolex started the Hermes game too. It is very difficult to get a sport watch. If you wanted a sport watch , you will need to buy the classic watch or other non hit items before they offer you a sport watch …

Started? I was always under the impression they did this. There are alot of luxury brands that sell other items than bags that do this. But people seem to be bothered more with Hermes.
Oooh, I have been wondering what to add to my wrist that has my wedding set....i would consider this!! Thanks! Word of warning for white gold wedding bands (bc I have white gold) - it has more maintenance than platinum. You need to get it rhodium plated regularly. They tell you different time intervals, but I do it every 6-12 months. Food for thought.

I just got mine in Jan. I went for the 36mm in all Steel with a black face. I ordered at the end of July last year and finally came at the end of January. I've been wearing mine all day since then :)

Congratulations on your beautiful watch. I just received my similar model in February. I went for yellow gold and a silver dial. I just love mine. It took 3 months for mine to come in which wasn't too bad. I wear mostly yellow gold so it made the most sense to me.

I feel that date just are the perfect entry level to luxury watches. And for some reason I really prefer a brand that only specialise in one or two items? Hope I’m making sense here 🤣but love to have a royal oak someday 😍
Rolex makes beautiful watches; I am impressed with the quality of their diamonds, which seem more brilliant than any other luxury diamond watches. The Rolex Pearlmaster with the diamond bezel is the perfect dress up watch! And of course, one cannot go wrong with the top echelon luxury watch brands that make up the HOLY TRINITY 😍: Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Costantin! Patek has come out with some really nice new models in 2022, but it’s still a toss up between my updated 24 and my Nautilus. Love the design and the bracelet of my Royal Oak from AP. The Overseas from Vacheron makes a nice travel watch with its quick release mechanism allowing you to change out the bracelet and leather straps; the switch to a white rubber strap makes my Overseas a perfect summer watch! Very pretty. I've moved to getting the larger sport model Rolex watches for everyday wear. Be careful as this hobby can get expensive and is addictive -being enticed with all of the cute nicknames that refer to the sport models GMT, Daytona, Submariner - "Starbucks, Pepsi, Kermit, Batman, Batgirl and my favorite Panda" and on and on. 😂 Enjoy your beautiful piece❤

Just heard you say your engagement ring is platinum and you're thinking of doing a white gold wedding band; be careful stacking them together as that can wear down the platinum (it'll get scratched more as it's full platinum compared to 18k white gold)
I heard you shouldnt mix metal on wedding and engagement ring, because platinum is stronger than white gold so white gold will yellow overtime. Best check with jeweller.

I recently got the the same combo with the diamond set dial, but I got the 36mm, with the mother of pearl face and I did end up getting the diamond bezel. I was so on the fence about the diamond bezel but decided to go with it. I like the Everose two tone so much better than the yellow gold combo! The yellow gold is too brassy on me. The Everose is so much prettier and softer looking to me. Anyway, enough out of me. Yours is BEAUTIFUL, enjoy every min of it❣️❣️❣️

I was waiting for a new one from the store and got a call a couple months later that one was available but when I found out it had the fold over clasp and not the hidden crown clasp I turned it down and bought a preowned one. I love mine so much and glad I didn't compromise. I hope u get what u want. I'd love to hear what u decide.
