Apples watch is a different class of product to other watches. It's a tool. Where as others are luxury accessories. It's like comparing a tie pin to a cufflink. Incomparable. Also there's no denying apples iconic watch design. I'd buy mosers swiss alp in a heart beat if i could afford it.

@@AfriqueNY rolex is not above average . It’s actually for average people who can’t afford many more expensive things in life to aspire to buy. I feel ppl couldn’t see this point or too egoistic to see. I am guessing u own rolex before too , so do I . The tech behind it as you know is too dated. They are not even metas certified in 2023 , it’s a joke for someone who wants to wear it and to feel above average about it. I love my date date 40 8 years ago , hulk 7 years ago , panda Daytona 5 years ago, my Pepsi 3 years ago , but when I look at them or the current design, they are really dated and boring . But of coz if u r an average person who has not gotten it , u will still want to own them since it’s been on ur mind for the longest time, your view may be different. I am just speaking from the owner perspective . And when u have them all, u really find that an Apple Watch pro is superior in every ways, except maybe when u wear a watch purpose purely for “aesthetic” . Then again, u wouldn’t need to buy so many watches then, the datejust 41 is properly the most beautiful , icon basic watch, again its average for average people so I don’t buy it back then

no you are not :) i have a few watches and on a rare occasion someone will recognise them or say something at all. my apple watch ultra on the other hand started many conversations.

I kind of understand the hate and not from a watch guy perspective more from a human being perspective. But to each their own

Got one, and it became an annoying tap getting me to look at my phone more often. As a lightweight music device I enjoyed it, but not enough to wear it daily. It's also universal, so doesn't say anything good or bad about you as a watch enthusiast. It's also designed to be replaced every few years. Annoying I have to do that with my phone, but then my watch too? That's when I decided to tap out. I also found the interface a little fiddly, and often the watch apps left me wanting more than they could deliver. It's ok, but hard to be excited by.

@@MikeSmith-er1qs my point was that it's more complex than that. Collectors like to show off their collection therefore they care what others think. I wouldn't call Teddy Baldassare or Kevin OLeary "boys". Those are grown men and mature adults. They very much DO care about what people think of their collections
