@@roger5621981 hahaha. Well, I failed my promise, I got a Montblanc not long ago because I was missing a proper dress watch, although I've used my 116655 plenty of times with a suit.
price can be around 21.000 USD I guess, but depends on the age and the set and condition of the watch. Retail is more, but that depends on where you live and buy it too, check www.rolex.com for the retail in your region. This one is really nice, I like the rosegold a lot. But 42 mm is cool, I think this one would be cooler too in 42 mm size because the YM case looks smaller than a sub for example... but maybe this is just me
Is the watch functioning properly ? you handled it for 7 ,minutes and the seconds hand did not move...started to move only when you wound it...any Rolex I've handled will begin to move after handling it for even 1 minute ... may need a service ... otherwise beautiful watch
I have both steel Daytona models ceramic & non. I much prefer to wear this one. Getting the right size was a complete pain as none of the fixed lengths fitted as I wanted. In the end I attached a PVD coated oyster link inbetween the half link and strap. Fits perfectly now.
I guess this is not the best value holder, if they will stop produce it, than maybe can be a good investment, but for the records I prefer metalic bracelet, and maybe the size looks a bit too small, I wont be surprised if they would present yacht-master on rubber but with 42 mm case diameter in rose gold too, as they did it last year with the white gold edition. we will see :)
you got three pin holes on the claps, so you can there with tools or you can buy from 6 different sized oysterfelx rubber strap and try to find the correct size. The new version has got the rolex glide lock claps so you can change length in several steps in 1.5 cm long
@@RetekG Sounds crazy indeed but it actually integrates flawlessly. I did see the Sky dweller but it looks as if it has the glide lock system in place so there wont be any size issues. If Im honest I love my Yachtmaster but I would nt fancy my Skydweller on an Oysterflex. The Oyster bracelet suits it so well.
@@meone8949 Agree on that :) and yes the new sky has got the glide lock, so much more easier to adjust the correct size for sure. i like the oysterflex anyway a lot. Really clever and comfrotable flexible strap, maybe the best of its kind on the market
