I didn't see this in theaters but wanted to for the sensurround, which was really a cool gimmick. Only experienced in theaters two times with the movie Earthquake and the theatrical release of Battlestar Galactica. It was like being next a giant sub-woofer speaker. For a kid it was awesome!

Went to Ocean View Amusement Park as kid. Was a big event in Norfolk when it was filmed.

I feel like carnivals and fairs are the only places left that feel like they did 30+ years ago.

@@mikesmoviereviews King Dominion had only been open few few years when they filmed there. The Ocean View park was demolished during the filming of a movie in the early 80s. The producers tried to blow up the rollercoaster more than once and they ended up using explosives and a bulldozers with cables to help it fall apart as it blows up.
