In honor of 2014, you should bring back “how to build a realistic coaster in rct3.”

That thing where you could fly a helicopter around if one of your animals escaped was actually brought back by Frontier for Jurassic World Evolution. If one of your dinos escapes, you can fly a helicopter around and shoot a tranquilizer dart to subdue the dino!

I spent about ten years playing rct3, but this summer I finally decided to get Planet Coaster. It’s strange seeing how things used to be. I still miss being able to let my guests ride unfinished coasters.

I played RCT3 with Windows Vista laptop around 2007 and I still have the laptop.

Oh man, the sounds... the music... the pieces... it all gives me such a fuzzy feeling! 😊 About time I booted this game up again!

I know it was 7 years ago, but you didn't even have the same accent back then. Time flies...

I used to play and love this game when I was just a kid. I remember the days where I went to school and all I could think about was playing this game. Just the fact that you could ride the coasters in first person was amazing. That and the incredible music tracks. Thanks Frontier for letting me feel nostalgic again. Thanks for letting my inner child come back again.

Seeing another RCT3 timelapse really makes me feel nostalgic. When I was like 12/13, me and my cousin loved watching these and were blown away by your skill. Chances are I wouldn't even be a coaster enthusiast today if your videos didnt exist. Your channel is one of the very few, if not the only one, I really watched growing and I am so glad you finally took off with PlanCo, you deserve it!

I used to play this game everyday, this brings back so many memories

This game would make my dad's pc shout "Danger! Danger!". Never encountered it while doing anything else, so thought it was an ingame feature, since it only occured right before drops in POV. One day my dad came home, saw my coaster, heard the danger sounds and started to panic. Apparently it was his monitoring tool telling him his pc was ready to catch fire. Ah the memories :) F.

it's always blown me away how skilled you are at these games. The ingenuity and the creativity that is shown when you build things like this is incredible.

I believe there were three types of people who played this game. This guy: "I'm going to make an awesome and realistic park/ride." Normal people: "I'm going to make the best park I can with cool looking rides." And there's me: "Hmmmm, I wonder how fast I can make a coaster go, before launching it on to a long path full of peeps."

I still have my old RCT3 disc in my 6+ year old Acer computer, haven’t booted it up in years!

The sole reason I played rct3 was the music played when I zoomed out all the way in sandbox mode

I'm happy that RCT3 is back! :D While it is currently free-to-own on the Epic Games Store (which I am going to snag right away!), I also plan on buying the Nintendo Switch port.

Ngl, it took me a while to realize this was only vanilla. It looks so much better when you get creative and start using pieces from multiple themes.

i think its great that this community is making some what of a comeback. i've been playing this game since 2013, and have never left it. you were my inspiration to play this game, and i still watch your old RCT3 videos to this day. i hope that a new life comes to this game, and im so glad that youre back in this community.

And this is where having played the scenarios actually benefitted me. Knew about the terrain blending as one of the Wild scenarios basically included a mini tutorial on it with the animal not liking any of the base paint but only a blend of two different terrains.

I played it when it came out, Then i got wild, then i played the deluxe edition and i just got it now because of this video. I poured thousands of hours into this game for over 10 years and it makes me so happy to see that a digital dowload is finally available again. I watched your first series and enjoyed it a lot and i watched your channel for all these years and i want to say thank you for the great content.

Ever since the pandemic started I have been playing RCT3 Platinum all over again. Thank goodness the website with all the customs is still available! That made me very happy! Sandbox is a huge stress reliever for me. I was excited to hear they were coming out with this new edition, but if it is basically the same as the 2005? version I play, well.....not sure I'll get it. The customs really make the game endless for me. Loved your video at the end my dear!

I remember watching your old RCT3 videos years ago (2012-2013 I think?) and getting inspired to do them myself. RCT3 really sparked my interest in coasters. Nowadays I mainly come back to RCT3 for playing around with the pool stuff, since for coaster building I prefer No limits 2 nowadays. But for what it is, RCT3 is still a great game

homaygad Silvarret, I have been using your custom sceneries in my parks along with Shyguy's, Belotto33's, Ralfvieh's and others from CS Depot site ...really good that RCT3 is back again .. this is my most sentimental favorite game ... and with designers like you and the others made RCT3 much fun to play! I think I am the only Filipino RCT3 gamer at the time 2007 and up .. I have stopped playing when I got to work on the ship overseas...

I get soo many fond memories out of this video and I have to admit that I've never played the modded RCT3. I did use custom scenery and rides though, so there is that. I actually recall when hearing about 'Wilde Hilde', I was like 'That's not a new coaster, RCT3 had it!' Also, that thicc chain lift cracked me up xD

Because of the Hershey inspiration, Hersheypark planned to build a ride called Turbulence in 2004 that is the same ride type as Wilde Hilde. However, the cost of steel made it no longer viable. It would be where there Ferris Wheel is by there GCI's-Wildcat and Lightning Racer

Nothing will ever compare to the explosive communal creativity that came from following the development of incredible CS, CTRs, and ambitious parks on the Atari forums and SGW. Soooo much tinkering and really just an endless suprise to see what people had reverse engineered. It's the type of beauty that can only come from intense limitations and some committed hacking. I love the amount of freedom Planet Coaster gives, but I'll never again scratch the itch of seeing somebody completely overhaul yet another vanilla RCT3 asset. Pure magic. Also, your rock detailing in the first tiered section is shockingly good for vanilla.

This is gonna be great! I started playing RCT3 in the 6th grade. I will soon be graduating as a mechanical engineer and I 100% credit this game for pushing me in that direction. I’m sure I’m not the only on in saying that

I remember actually loving the Looping Coaster. It had an overbanked turn that made turn arounds really photogenic. That and the Tower Coaster.

The main part of this build kinda reminds me of the Intolerance movie set from LA Noire (and from real life for that matter) awesome job!

this game made me fall in love with theme parks. i used to skip school to play it upwards of 18hrs a day making custom coasters. i even used it in school for a project.

I can barely use already made coasters with scenery and then you just threw this masterpiece together. Holy crap! Thats amazing, are you some kind of designer? I can't believe ppl just do this. Hot damn!!

I was really enjoying the video, but then the sound of the coaster POV gave me such a huge dose of nostalgia that I stopped paying attention entirely and missed the whole ride lol

I loved this game ever since I got it! Fell in love with the mix master shows with all the things you can do with the lasers and fireworks editor. I do wish that the firework editor was always enabled and not hidden until you name a guest Guideo Fawkes or something which was always annoying every time you start up the game. I still have my cd copy of RCt3 Platinum and might get it on steam just to relieve the nostalgia! Also remember “The Box” trend of making coasters inside giant checker boarded boxes that would connect and make you disoriented

This video reminded me of how much I love RTC 3 ... Planet Coaster is great, too, but RTC was my first love there... I'd love to see more videos on RCT 3.

Really nice to see an old school RCT3 build. For non-cs is this really impressive again on a global view. But it's funny to see that when you look closer to the details, it feels strange and kinda of a mismatch. It clearly shows why people avoided everything ingame-related back then. But as I said, on global level it turns out very nice. Hands down best vanilla build ever! RCT3 remains a very good classic, and I think the game still shows why the game has been so popular for so many years. Not only because of all the custom content that has been created for the game, but as well as all the possibilities you had in the game. That goes from the expansion packs with waterparks en zoos, to the more specialized features in the game with creating your own firework, and the flying route camera. In my honest opinion, it's that kind of features which allows so much variety of what you can do in this game what is lacking for me in PlanCo/PlanZoo. And of course, thank you for the shoutout! That Aquanura remake has been in progress for waaay too many years (since 2012 xD). The project kinda stranded back then in 2016, but thanks to Corona, i found new motivation, and more importantly, better tools, to finish the project. So I can assure you: I will finish it (I aim for a release in 2021)

I always played RCT2 & 3 when I was younger. And used to think I was pretty good at it. I have not got into planet coaster, besides watching videos, because my computer doesn’t really have the specs for it. I was excited to get back into this game but this video made me feel like I was never as good as I thought lmao
