I am building a rather sweet rolling ball sculpture (marble run). This one features an egg laying swan. In this video I make the ball release gate.

but did you check to see if the weight of the ball will activate the release gate.. ?? I'm sure you did but just throwing in my 2 cents.. I DO like the mechanism though. Looking forward to the next episode..
