I am actually familiar with Dreamcatcher though I have only heard one or 2 songs. I did not know this was a cover. I assumed the next songs coming out would be all originals from their mini album. I suppose I should have read the about section of the video on YT. I was just too excited to hear more from these ladies. Thank you so much for the information. I encountered Rolling Quartz when RU-vid suggested them right after their demo for "Delight" dropped. (I have learned to trust RU-vid... Kept suggesting maids 2 years ago) I went back and watched all their covers and decide they were worth keeping an eye on. I got their mini album, solid rock music. Their cover of "Zitti E Buon" is top notch. They took a really good song and made it great. I think the " Zitti E Buon" cover really showcases how good they are as a band. 🤘😎🤘
Yeah they are actually really cool. Ive been told a lot of the Zitti E Buon cover. I will check it out at some point! I think RQ just dropped a new song so the cover will probably get pushed back again.
Thank you for reacting to Rolling Quartz's homage/cover of Dreamcatcher's Goodnight. The original version by Dreamcatcher is as heavy, without the guitar solos, but more vocally centric. I love Dreamcatcher and Band-Maid. So it'll be nice if you start exploring Dreamcatcher too since I saw your reply to one of the comments that you've heard only a couple of Dreamcatcher tracks.
Thank you for stopping by. I recently discovered RQ as a friend of mine mentioned they reminded him of young BAND-MAID. He understood the music I enjoyed and knew it would be a good fit. I found them to be fantastic and full of potential. I figured it would be fun to follow them and watch them grow as they work together. I am actually very interested in checking out Dreamcatcher. Not only is this a great cover but there are tons of Easter eggs or shout outs to iconic Dreamcatcher moments. Dreamcatcher is really unique amoung K-pop groups and are well worth checking out. Before looking at Dreamcatcher’s version of Good Night, you should first look at their debut song Chase Me because there’s a story line connecting the two songs and Chase Me comes first.

4:50 Yeah, I think Yeong Eun does _occasionally_ wear shoes to perform when she thinks she needs to; I think I've actually seen her once or twice wearing _one_ shoe. But she seems to vastly prefer drumming without them. A handful of videos on her personal channel do have a dedicated foot-cam so you can see what she's doing on the bass end, too. 5:05 Oh, yeah, Jayoung is a brilliant rapper as well. Dreamcatcher, whose song this is, have their own specialist rappers (though they're vocalists too, and frankly all the other members can _also_ rap), but here Jayoung's doing the work of seven all by herself. They've actually done this cover many times, including live, and the arrangement sometimes changes a bit. The two of them have been InSomnia (Dreamcatcher fans) for quite a while... 😉 But Iree and Hyunjung do indeed do duets. The mini-album this comes from is called _Fighting!_ It's a 6-track EP with three original tracks, which are studio-recorded versions of songs they'd previously written and demoed: _Delight, Holler_ (my personal favourite, and also that of _at least_ Jayoung and Yeong Eun), and _Rock & Roll Paradise._ And three covers. The first is _Good Night._ The second is _Azalea,_ originally by Maya from 2003. And the third is _Higher,_ which is a cover of what was originally an OST from an anime called _Shinbi House,_ but RQ were commissioned by TV station MBC to record a cover for them to use as as the theme song to TV show _Witches_ (about a female all-celebrity baseball team). When you recorded this, it was only available in digital format, but the CD's available now too (and I'm _very_ much looking forward to my copies... 😁). It seems you don't follow Dreamcatcher closely yet (I feel like you will soon, though, and you'll love _them,_ too), but this MV actually has a lot of ties to their inspiration. For one, the director of _this_ MV is actually employed by the director of _Dreamcatcher's_ Good Night MV, and they talked a lot about the direction of the video as he produced it. Dreamcatcher Company also gave them a lot of help. In particular, the set is the same one that DC used for one of their _Odd Eye_ dance videos, and that chandelier can also been seen in the "Last Supper" segments of their _Deja Vu_ MV. The members of Dreamcatcher also loved it, and several of them signal-boosted it on their Instagram channels, and one also talked it up on her radio show... The MV's story has the girls trying to develop a sixth sense, using their own natural five senses as a starting point (along with, I think, some kind of spell). I understand what you mean. I respect your (and others) feelings/decisions. I am just here to enjoy music. I love spending time in Japan and I love Japanese culture. Japanese music is very special to me and its the majority of what I listen to. Regarding anyone's (Japanese or non Japanese) feelings towards another country, that is their decision to think/feel however they want. At the end of the day, I am not here to be a big youtuber. If I was here for that, there is a lot of popular bands that I would feature on my channel that I dont. I host a lot of non popular bands (even non popular Japanese bands). If the videos dont get a lot of views, thats OK with me. I just want to enjoy music with people. I want to discover new music through people who comment on videos. I would also like the opportunity to share music with others as well. If people refuse to watch my videos because I enjoy a Korean band, that is their choice to do so.
