I was there with my friends from Year 11 @ South Sydney Boys High School. We got there at about 6:30 AM to ensure a good spot and managed to get ourselves on the inside front page of our afternoon paper the Daily Mirror. We were first in that night and ran to the front of the stage and found a spot to the right of the stage, up against the security railing. Australian band, Headband, played first and they were great. The Stones exceeded my expectations. Mick Taylor was brilliant. Indeed, I ended up owning a 1960 Les Paul Standard several years later, just like Mick's. :-)

I was there 2. Both nights. Unbelievable to hear this as I remember it.And both nights recorded. Taped the 1st gig (when you could smuggle an elephant in under a greatcoat) almost memorized it ver batum. then had my car requisitioned outside the Manzil Room a couple of mths later with said tape on board. It`s back after 42 yrs. Fkn wow.Mick Taylor blew my mind that night.....But Keith was and always will be 'THE MAN' Great upload. Thanks for this.

Listening to this guitar riff since the age B/S and it still does the same thing, now I play all these songs it’s like kind of relationship man nothing like growing up listening to the best everything was really hot back then!⚡️🎸✌️

Wow 2nd concert I ever saw in my life. Almost 15 & stoned on pot there with my mum who like 420 too. I still remember the 6 white horses drawing that white stage coach & the lights all going out & then on with explosions with psychedelically painted balloons came floating down then it happened again later with psychedelic ping pong balls got fired into the crowd. I took heaps home & had em for years lol

2020 SUCKS big time ! I absolutely hate it here. Thanx for the respite. I saw them in 1973 Madison Square. Oh well...another day. Take care Mick...love you always...live forever..(See you in the afterlife... soon.) hg

the difference between Mick Taylor and any other guitarist with Keith is he listened to Keith and played off him to help the song... ADDED to the songs that needed adding to, so that even the Brown Sugars sounded brand new each time... And his solos were always new, always different... Every live show has something new...
