Been hooked on your RU-vid videos for about two years now. I am just another harmonica junkie and wanted to say Thanks for all the great content. Your efforts are appreciated!
This song has such a driving groove and the way you're playing it just fills it with full, actual sorrow from the soul. This is how a person plays the Blues on Harmonica. To have this much emotion felt and heard in this piece of Music provides evidence that you have gone through a similar event in your own life. Many people think they can play the Blues. Thinking has nothing to do with it. This style of music historically comes from desperate situations, sadness, loss, longing for another, death, being poor, it comes from the heart & soul of the downtrodden, the sick, the ones who are in a "hell " of their own doing and those who were in "hell " yet somehow they escaped ravaged and torn but still alive to tell their tale. I think a lot of people either forget or don't really know what Blues Music historically is about and that sure it's great to learn how to play all those incredible old songs from the originals like Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter and Sonny Terry to name a few but remember the reason they each sounded so amazing playing the Harmonica and Singing is because they were living what they were playing. Full of creativity plus severe Emotional ups but, mostly downs.💡🎶👁🤙🏽♥️🌌🌛🐈⬛🕯
Wait... i can`t believe it, i thought there was no way you are gonna make a full tutorial on any song!!! But now there are only two words: Let`sss GOOOOOOO!
MoonCat, You are a true man of integrity. Keeping up with the FREE Fridays when you're on a demanding tour schedule is a near heroic feat in my book, especially when you're producing five-star lessons like this one from a bathroom on the road. Thank you so much for your passion, commitment and love for music and your fans! Shine on you crazy diamond! ☮️🙏☯️
I keep coming back to this lesson, trying to Gee the little subtle in between tongue blocking stuff. That’s the stuff that makes it groove and keeps it interesting for me.
So good ! Every time i watch your old videos on stage … I can just imagine how insignificant and easy those videos must be for you. Thank you for taking the time and your generosity.
Jason-Watching you figure out how to nail the middle octave later in the Video is a valuable lesson in itself in the importance of attitude and perseverance. Thanks,..
It’s a country song, top headband and what’s crazy is I was in Dollar General out of all places and I heard a song over the radio and it was harmonica blues and it reminded me of you and I typed in the song and there you are at the top two weeks ago
