I am Italian and enjoyed this song more than any other in the ESC this year: it is melancholy, sweet and sour, heartfelt and reminds us that life escapes from our hands but memories can make us live forever. Zasvirajte noćas tu romancu, tiho, nježno da me razboli...
After so many years since I heard it first on Eurovision 2008, I keep returning to this song and can't get enough of it! Pozdrav iz Rusije, pjesma je remek-dijelo! :D
The fact that this song didn't win the Eurovision Song Contest is one of the great injustices of life.... Great song - great concept. You gotta love 75 cent! Greetings from Sweden =)
Jos uvijek ne mogu prezaliti sto nisu uspjeli... denn, solche Musik, so etwas, wahre Künstler zwischen all denn vielen Schatten, und doch mitten im Licht... R.I.P. Mr. 75 Cents, Ladislav Demeterffy, in meinem Herzen brennt eine Flamme, für Dich
Play the romance tonight quietly, gently, to make the sorrow ache when nightingale dies when the soul separates from the body Play the romance tonight but slowly so that everyone can hear it may the guitars play again I havent listened to them in a long time
I'm from Albania and I absolutely LOVED the song and voted for it (though i didn't understand a word of what they sang =). Finding a translation here really made my day!! Good luck and keep up doing great balkan music!!!
My personal favourite. And no doubt that if this were an actual contest based on composition, performance, meaning etc, Croatia would have done a whole lot better. I'm glad to see, that some countries don't lower their standards for the masses. Excellent song!
Since 2008 I kept this song in my favorite playlist. I don't understand the vote in that night at Eurovision. Russia won just for Pluschenko's skating, not for the song. But this song, Romanca.. mmm......I don't understand the lyrics, but music speak a lot. I love it!1
Song is something so beautiful, that I was greatly surprised of that brave choice with old patine and melancholicnotes that I adore. ::: Odusevila me, izuzetna je!
This one's a grower. One of what I would call, the quirky three, along with Spain and France. Beautifully dark and eastern European in the true sense without being cheesy like many of the others.
First I saw Kraljevi Ulice & 75 Cent at the Eurovision 2008 and loved the old-town mood in their performance. To me they are THE BEST in the competition, and I'm deeply attracted by the singer. I guess his name is Miran Hadzi--Veljkovic?
One of my favourite songs that year and another reason why Croatia is my favourite ESC country, hehe. This song has so much charm! This year was disappointing though - so many good songs in Dora and they decided to send Feminnem... :( Don't you think Franko would have done much better? I do.
Because the life, erases traces behind us in a good night, it releases strange devils so every dream is illuminated with cold sun and almost all memories have faded if you ask me Id know only one thing that all colours only with this rhyme exist and night and day are a verses trace and they will disappear when our songs fade away
