Thank you so much for doing this video. Seems like sixth grade is the year bcs that’s when I started struggling as well. Anyway, it’s great to see great romances incorporate accurate mental health representation. Can’t wait to dive in! Btw - YESSS SWEET DANDELION
Ever After Always by Chloe Liese has great mental health representation. Aiden, the hero, has always experienced severe anxiety stemming from growing up poor and it affects his marriage. It's a marriage in trouble romance and I loved seeing him express how debilitating his anxiety could be because his wife, the heroine, had not always understood how bad it could get. Eyes on Me by Sara Cate is a recent one I read. It has bipolar disorder representation (the author calls it manic depressive disorder but I think that terminology has phased out and is formally known as bipolar disorder now)
I need to read Chloe Liese I hear so many great things and the newest release that she has sounds so good! Also I just started Eyes on Me the other night and am really liking it so far!
HEY MY FAVORITE! You're inspiring me to do a video like this, since I have PTSD/depression/anxiety as well! Don't be surprised if you get a shout out in my video haha. Thank you for speaking out on this topic!
