gheorghe hagi the legend, lazslo boloni and rodion camataru the beasts. they had it in their hands and lost to northern ireland at home, what a shame!!! but then went on to qualify from 1990s on through to 2000 in the worlds and euros consecutively.

Hagi "El Maradona de los Cárpatos" magistral desde sus comienzos, increíble como Rumania por cuestiones de mantener los marcadores se quedaba afuera del mundial, era mucho mejor que Irlanda del Norte.

Patt jennings,a fost unul dintre cei mai buni portari de fotbal din campionatul englez,el a luat goluri doar când era la Tottenham și la națională Irlandei de Nord pe teren propriu,in Romania a avut poarta bine apărată de el patt jennings.in 1971 cu rapid in cupa uefa3-0,la Londra,in 1972cu Uta aceeași competiție 2-0,la Arad cu Uta,la Londra a condus Uță cu 1-0,gol domide s-au terminat 1-1,Irlanda de Nord Romania3-2,a fostin1984,iar în 1985la București Irlanda Nord a învins națională României cu 1-0,gol Quinn, iar jennings a apărat magistral,avea 40ani, la mondialul mexic1986,s-calificat irl Nord.

beacause those years were the most restrictive, dictatorial years, the most matches weren't broadcasted in Romania because of economy, at that times peaople must work no spent time at football. It is long talk.
