I hope you enjoy the heck out of your travels. When I was 16 my school had an Italy trip, and it was $5000 per student. I was a poor kid and I worked hard at my part-time job to save, but I wasn't able to save enough money and was the only student who couldnt hand in their slip to go. When my dad talked to me about the reality that I would be left behind, I was gracious and told him it was okay, but I walked to my room and silently cried for hours... well he sold his truck to get me the rest of the money to go on the trip, he didn't want me to miss a once in a lifetime experience that he never had. I live very rural Canada and my time in Florence, Rome, and Venice are some of my most precious memories. Thank you dad. ❤
It’s probably too late but there is a beautiful monks monastery that has a beautiful garden. They produce the most wonderful perfumes from what they grow. Santa Maria Novella. One of the oldest perfumeries. I buy a patchouli cologne from them and wear it exclusively. Very soft and beautiful. They have many amazing aromas and have a shop you can visit, the gardens and the monastery. I think you’d love it.
Glad youre having fun, you deserve it! You’re so inspiring for traveling alone. Due to past experiences, i hate going places alone and it doesnt help i dont have friends. Mostly by choice as a late diagnosed complex ADHD girlie, it’s hard to keep friendships when everyone values you less despite doing everything for them. Pity party over, time to party party 🎉 xoxo

Berlin is ehh architecture was lovely ? I think you still have to hit: Sweden , Norway and Finland dear!! And you’re going to probably fall in love with Japan too!! Sooo many places to see!
When I was a 17-year-old student in the fine arts, I had the opportunity to go to Rome with school and quickly examine all these works of art an important locations... Now, years later I feel the urge to go again. Returning to Rome has been on my mind for quite some time. Perhaps this video is a sign to do it. :) It was a very beautiful video again, Adam. My first time falling in love sucked aswell. I haven’t had an experience like it since so idk if it was truly falling in love but I’m assuming it was because that’s the closest I’ve gotten. I did so much for them and it crashed and burned when they found someone they liked more and I got left in the dust. I didn’t know how to cope so I spent 4 months (it was like 1-2 years long of a “relationship”) moping and crying till I felt way better. This was when I was like 14 or 15 so now that I’ve matured and grown I hope next time will be easier lmao.
😂 I used to work in a bar/restaurant and it was terrifying every time I had to open champagne or prosecco. What if the cork goes akimbo and knocks someone out?! I'm glad that you're feeling better within yourself, that must be a great feeling. You're so much braver than me travelling by yourself and I'm 37! I remember when I went to Rome last year for my creative writing abroad class. It was so beautiful! I just have to say be careful. Those cobblestone roads get really slippery this time of year because of the rain/general wetness, and I almost fell on my ass several times. As for Florence, i recommend going to the Leonardo Di Vinci museum! It has all his wacky inventions that you can play with. Also, Michangelo's David is absolitely something you must see while you're there.
21:30 i think we do a similar thing with tiktok lives thes days. Of course no one (usually) dies, but we stare at people like they are in a zoo. I remember being a little popular on FB and Instagram like 13 years ago, and it was isolating. People would message me but it was never for ME, but it was for a Share, or a shout out, etc. and if i ever made friends, they all eventually found better friends. Of course, people grow and change. But for me, i want friends for life. Maybe thats selfish or weird, but i hate change and i hate having to open up to people who could end up just using it against me later on. Learning to be alone and enjoy yourself is the BEST thing you can do for yourself, Adam and you are doing amazing. Not trying to be weird bc I know you, but you dont know me. I just really relate to you and it’s nice to see that it’s ok to be alone,
The fact that you weren’t allowed in clubs in Berlin because you didn’t speak German felt a bit icky for me. Anyone else? It’s got THOSE icky vibes ,ya know what I mean? 😅. Anyway Italy looks amazing, it’s my dream to visit someday 😊, people do seem very lovely and friendly there from what I’ve heard from other people as well
I LOVE traveling on only carry on. Once I started I can’t go back, it’s truly the only way I can travel now 😂 I did a month and a half solo travel through Korea and Japan on only a carry on and I just did laundry consistently!

Adam, you should check and see if your hotels offer laundry services. I know here in the US there are some nice hotels that offer that and then you can wash all your clothes before you travel to the next place ❤ Rome looks so beautiful!
as German person what youre saying about Berlin makes so much sense. Germans (especially those from Berlin) have a reputation of being rude and sadly there is definitley a reason for this... Most people here dont like strangers. But fr you should really try other places in Germany maybe find some people to show you around a little :)
I'm a history buff so I'm baffled that you didn't know the coliseum. I'm excited that you got to see it and hope you'll check out the history of some of the other cities you're about to visit. And your brother will be with you in Japan so he'll probably ell you about some of the things you're gonna see there.

I hated that there were people who were disgusted that I was speaking in English when I was there. One guy was even making fun of me because of it. Don't think I'm going there again. It was awful to feel bad for using international language and being made fun of. But everything else was lovely I'd say. Also not sure why people there think you have to know Italian when you're from another country, it's super dumb in my opinion.
I toured Europe a few years ago. Germany was my least favorite because my rental host was passive aggressive and left an angry note because I left a hallway light on. France was my favorite. Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing.
Every time I hear an ambulance/emergency sound in these Europe videos it reminds me of the Jason Bourne movies…. Is this just me lol?!! I keep seeing the chase scenes in my head when the sound pops in on Adam’s videos 😂
Adam, our buildiging engineer is from Italy. He told me today that his mother n law is very sick in Italy and that they dont give pain meds when prople are dieing. There health care system suck!! Have fun and dont get hurt.😅😅

Don't tip in europe. The reason is because in North America our tipping culture has gone way out of control where the employee doesn't pay the employee won't pay. The employee won't pay the employer a livable age. So they rely on tips and some can get quite rude and begging for tips. It's become a big problem over here. Europe is not a tipping culture because they pay their people properly.

I’m not sure if you’ll see this but they have those little instant boiling kettles that plug in and you can travel with. They boil the water in like 60 seconds so you could have your teas. If you wanted ❤
talking about berlin... i am definitely a person with a lot of wanderlust, but for some reason it doesn't attract me that much?? if you want to go to fun places in germany, go to Munich, Cologne, just the south i think is very nice!
