Tour of inside the Monastery where Saint Paul was beheaded and three fountains sprang up. The place is called: Abbazia delle Tre Fontane. (The Abbey of Three Fountains)
Visited this Church where St Paul was beheaded in 2017. One of the staff explained the situation that took place then. Thank you for bring back memories.
Thank you so much for your excellent and reverent video. I hope to visit some day, but if I cannot your video has made me feel as if I were there. May God bless you!! ❤
im in love in rome, juat discovered this channel and the videos are amazing....it would be amazing to also have a map of the walks or some captions with the streets and monuments.
Thanks for the video. It was a long walk, a beautiful old church in the monastery. I visited Italy in Sept 2006, and visited the St. Paul's basilica outside the wall. To me, all churches built in Italy are museum itself!. You can view many statues, painting and architectures.
Thank you for taking us on your tours. I appreciate it that at least the church admits that Paul, was the only apostle of Jesus Christ, to set foot in Italy! Why was he going to Rome? Here is snippet of research: came to Caesar-ea to present their case against Paul before Governor Felix, accusing Paul of stirring up sedition and trying to profane the temple. The apostle showed that there was no evidence to support their charges against him. But Felix, hoping for a bribe, kept Paul in custody for two years. When Felix was replaced by Festus, the Jews renewed their charges. The case was heard again at Caesar-ea, and Paul, to prevent a transfer of the trial to Jerusalem, appealed to Caesar. Paul, was a Roman Citizen, and had the right to appeal. He was a Jew, but had gained rights to become a Roman Citizen. It was granted to his father and thus the entire family, were Roman Citizens. Paul was the only apostle to set food in Italy, and in the city of Rome. Peter, never once set foot in Italy, thus the stories and paintings of Peter being in Rome and impaled in upside down is false. One should check these things out first before stating that Christ's Disciple Peter, started the first CHURCH IN ROME! The "key's" (were not literal) they represented the places where Peter and other disciples started out preaching to those God sent them to. The first was Cornelius, a Roman and his entire family became believers in the Jewish God Jehovah, and by Christ's ransom sacrifice.
Thank you so much for sharing this. It's a very profound video. Such a lovely place for such an appalling event. I do wonder if Nero realized that by having a church built he was actually honoring Paul. And now generations later we have the opportunity to see this serene place. I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude for this honor to a true man of God. Such a terrific experience! Thank you.🥰❤️
Thank you so much. I hope to make a better video of the place because I didn't film the places that sprung up fountains when Paul's head hit the ground. I hope to do the filming very soon.
Thank-you for this tour. It gives me goose bumps to think that you are walking on the same two thousand year old cobbled way in which St. Paul walked to his death. God bless you!
saint apostle paulus, in one of the greatest man to have ever being called by our Lord Jesus Christ , rest in peace father paulus we will meet in jerusalem when the messiah rules
Calling Himself An Apostle of Jesus whom he never met, Paul killed many Jews followers of Jesus including his disciples, and destroy the law of Moses by forcing Those who follows Jesus to abandon Jewish mode of Pray and their GOD ELOHIM , to Paul ELOHIM never existed he never pronounced him, to PAUL HE HAS HIS GOD a Roman god who can be incarnated to JESUS . To Paul Jesus was a nothing but his creation of making JESUS OF NAZARETH A GOD romans 9:5 and Titus 12:1
Some parts of that are true but you missed the part that Jesus blinded him with a bright light and asked, “why are you persecuting me? He was blind for days until he was humbled. Jesus gave his sight bsck. Jesus traveled with his apostles. For me, he was the greatest Apostle ! Pls read the whole story.
