I love how Ron doesn't JUST do health inspection. We see him a couple times later seasons like working / volunteering at the puppet show set and at the food festival where bob entered the burger cooking contest. He really is an overall cool hardworking morally upright chill dude and side character. Much less dramatic than Hugo but he does still see Hugo as his health inspection partner. Yet he still does the right thing like the greasy rag fire and he thought it was Hugo who could've caused the fire and made Hugo return to apologize meaning he still checks Hugo when he is really in the wrong.
I actually love Ron so much. Also, "wing man" is one of my favourite scenes! lmao 01:48 (it's also the bit that made me realise he's obviously voiced by the same guy as Bob lol) Edit: The noise he made when Hugo slapped him, made me laugh 03:59
I really like how Ron being there stops Hugo's appearances from just being completely spite-driven, that there's just this incredibly pleasant and nice man who has to work with the most petty and spiteful man
Me too. I could see one where he has to do inspections on his own and due to his passive personality, has trouble when inspecting Jimmy Pesto so Bob helps him out since Ron is a good guy and as a bonus hopefully embarrass Jimmy.
Hugo's a health inspector because he has a deep, personal vendetta against Bob in particular and restaurateurs in general, and enforcing fines and closures is a great way to punish them for existing. Ron's a health inspector because "Health Inspector" is a legitimately important job, and _someone's_ gotta do it.
I love how the Belchers don't really acknowledge Ron at first, but he's so pleasant and polite, they progressively acknowledge him more than Hugo and with more enthusiasm.
Its so surreal seeing season 1 clips. The characters got better after that, seeing Bob back then, feels like I'm watching a skinwalker wearing his flesh 😭
@@Litoxjenny11 Really? Crawl Space and Sheesh! Cab? Bob are two of my absolute favourites, with the latter showing Bob at his most selfless (in fact it's Tina who comes across as a jerk)
His character model seem to have been slightly upgraded in the later seasons. His forehead isn't quite as bent as in season 1. He still kinda looks like Beavis thou. 😃
We should all aspire to be like Ron. Just a nice guy who's friendly to everyone. My favorite moment is when Hugo tries to convince Linda to ask his parents if he's single. Linda's look of disgust and Ron's sadness is so funny
For some reason I find Ron volunteering at the puppet theater to be the most adorable thing ever. Not sure why it gets me every time when he starts in with "one might want to put a sticker here...or maybe here..." and when he's shooing the "spider" away.
@@the_real_MarcGyver But to your original point - yes; Hugo has the same attitude towards being a Food Safety Inspector as Fenton does to being the lighting guy for "Bye Bye Greasy". (I love both of these shows.)
Honestly, I really hate Hugo. I mean Ron would be a good health inspector. If it wasn’t always involved in Hugo schemes to ruin Bob Belcher’s life all because Linda left him for her for Bob Hugo. Gotta get over it and move on find someone else.
Hugo is so immature dude the guy is looking for multiple reasons to ruin Bob’s life. He needs to get over it and move on. Ron is really the victim being around Hugo all the time
I think that if we got a Ron episode, it might take away from his odd normality - If it turns out that he's actually... Like Zeke's older brother, or he's gworld's world's largest collection of Hummel figurines in a disused warehouse, or that he's actually got 20 years experience in sign spinning. He's just a dude.
Started watching Home Movies and the relationship between Coach Mcguirk and Mr. Lynch (playing as Bob and Ron respectively) is different but hilarious.
