I had to put this up so no one could take it down it happened with the first person who put it up that person took it down so luckily some person put it up and now I got it now lol
People say he's overplaying; but its obviously a show-piece meant for him. He's not stepping on anybody; not crowding anybody out. He gets a little nuts at the end; but its the finale. Come on man, the guy's got flash and he gotta shine!
You’re right he’s not stepping on anybody he’s stomping kicking and punching everyone! 😖....a little TOO much sour cream on the tacos if you ask me....I RESPECT HIS GAME though %100...👍
It's amazing to watch Ronald now. He grew up playing in my church in Los Angeles. He was good then and we all knew he was going places, but to see him now! Just wow!🤯🥹😭😂 I even remember when his youngest brother just decided he was going to learn to play the piano. Their parents Ron Sr and Pam supported and coached them every step of the way. And now all three brothers are absolute geniuses at what they do! It's truly amazing to have witnessed the inception of their rise to greatness! ❤
So tf did I just witness??I had to rewatch it,because at the beginning I'm hearing drums that hes not hitting on top and does not sound like ur typical floor bass and I had to rewind and rewind again and I think this dude was literally using his bass drums as if they were on top, instead of the normal one,one two, one, one two....And I'm not a drummer but been around the drums all my life in bands and just have always loved the drums and drummers in general, but I just don't think I've ever seen that!!What an absolutely AMAZING DRUMMER!!
Had the extreme pleasure of seeing Ronald with Kamasi Washington here in New York City recently - he is a fantastic musician, and by all accounts a really cool man as well. Congratulations on the great new album Triumph!
practicing paradiddle fast so hard for me, the tip's are all on you tube. It seems as if I don't get it, but I still try and I don't give up. please I'm asking for advise what can I do to make my playing perfect as possible, thank you.
I hope a year later you've gotten a lot faster. In case you haven't, my tip would be to strive for control over speed. Start as fast as you can without messing up. Continue that for 2 days, or up to a week. However long it takes to keep a solid tempo for 5 minutes. Up the bpm by 5. Continue for 2 days to a week. Keep doing that same process. Eventually you'll hit a plateau. The main goal is control. If you're fast but sloppy, then you're not fast. If you're finding trouble with technique, try a different grip, or try isolating your fingers and strengthen the weaker ones to gain overall control in your grip. You'll never be able to gain speed if you feel uncomfortable holding the sticks. Use the best grip for you and get those fingers used to doing their job. Hope this helps if you haven't already gotten better!
I love this guy. Hes insane. Its just part of the so called "gift" of musicsl ability. Dennis chambers called him.........touched. He is. He comes from a musical family, his brothr is just as gifted. Hed go farther in the industry if he would jut be more normal. But he stays true to himself. And in an industry that only promotes sell outs, and not original ideas or personalities, he hasnt gone as far as his talent should. Success in any field is partially ability, and majority ass kissing, or politics if you will. I hope i never see him "make it", then ill know he never sold.out for a damn cymbal or drum head deal. And even if i do, ill just suspect the company gave in and just gave him th endorsement, even though they are terrified hes gonna say something that could.hurt them. He was at a zildijian event and they brought him on as part of their roster, during the interview with the biggest cymbal company on earth, who is paying him btw, all he could.do was talk about their drum sticks 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i love him. Thats like being hired by ford and all you could do is say nice things about their t shirts
Bass lick at 5:22 not normal at all. Voice like placement. I remember learning this on Bass about 11 years ago. I’ve played the guitar about the last 5 years and was a guitar move but yet in line with the bass
Ohhh the song is by kim burrell which is my favorite female gospel artist and they played this so well. Give us a warning before coming with all this heat😂😂
What did I just watch and HOW, am I just now seeing this? Is this guy still alive cause they way he just murdered the set, he had to commit suicide right after this too. #CRAZYYYYYYY
