Ronald Rae returns to carving granite - Part Two 

That is so interesting to hear that you come back to a sculpture with fear.. I FEAR every sculpture I start, im afraid of failure. Maybe that fear instinct keeps us from making any bad decisions that cant be reversed. I started sculpting a year ago after years of airbrush realism painting and I find sculpting far more rewarding. I love holding the art in your hands, to hit.. to carress.

Thank you cxbra. I agree with you it is good to have some fear. And yes, sculpture is far more rewarding than painting but not easy to do. It takes lots of courage and stamina. Wishing you all the luck in the world.
