"I feel like making a Rivals of Aether video today", thought Jacob, more commonly known by his screen name Alpharad. As he marched up the stairs he pondered which character the video should be about. "Oh, I know", he said out loud as inspiration came to him. It had to be Ronald McDonald. Since the last Rivals video where he played the funny fast food clown himself, he had learned that the CPU was capable of playing him. He thought it would be a fun challenge to try to beat him at the highest level. By now Alpha was in his seat, setting up the recording session. Soon he gave his opening words, briefly explaining the goal of the video before popping into the first game vs Ronald. He figured Clairen would be a good place to start. She was a solid character by all accounts, able to handle anyone on the roster. He did not expect to be death comboed almost immediately. As the game unfolded and Jacob was quickly three-stocked by the almighty clown, he realized that Ronald was a completely different beast. Switching to Zetterburn, the old reliable "Fox" of Rivals of Aether, Alpha tried to run it back, only to encounter a crash caused by Ronald himself. He remarked on the phenomenal power the fast food mascot must wield to be able to crash the game before starting it up again and trying for his rematch. No problems this time, but he did eat another 0 to death from McDonald once the match started. Fighting for his life, the internet funny man robbed Ronald of a stock with a cheeky Up Special, glimpsing the light of hope before it was smothered by the clown's burgers of despair. He tried Krag, Ranno, and even Sandbert, but it was useless. The fast food overlord could not be defeated by such honest means. In light of this, Alpha abandoned the regular cast altogether and began to throw every previously discovered unbalanced character from the Workshop into the grinder that was Ronald McDonald. This brought him his first win, with 100% Accurate Fox, one of the "broken by design" Workshop characters. Once again Jacob felt hope, and once again Ronald smothered that hope with burgers as he proved through several sequntial victories that losing to Fox was just a fluke. Though Jacob had success with 200% Accurate Falco, he ultimately resorted to the "guaranteed win" characters, Tetris and Dwayne. But, feeling that those were not honorable victories, he made the mistake of challenging Ronald to a ditto. After getting smashed he pulled out the Fox and squeaked another victory. By now Alpha was demoralized, and ready to end the video... but something whispered to him. "Golden Ronald" it said to him. He felt strangely compelled to obey. He switched Ronald to the all gold color scheme, loaded up the match, and... "OH! My god! OHHHHHH NOOOO!" He screamed in fear and surprise, at the battle cry of Gold Ronald Requiem and the lightning quick asswhooping that followed. The incredible power of Ronald's unrestricted form caught him totally off guard. He even survived the easy bake chaingrab kill confirm and while cleaning up Alpha's second stock, the comedian noticed the damage he inflicted disappearing. "He's regenerating!" Jacob exclaimed, before getting 0 to death'd once again by McDonald's immaculate gameplay. Seeing the truth of the matter, that he could no longer beat Ronald no matter how hard he tried Alpharad resorted to the only tactic he had left. Infinite lives, 8 minutes. What followed could be put on pornhub and not be out of place. Even when Ronald died, it was because he allowed himself to, as indicated by the fact that these were counted as SDs, not kills for Alpha. After getting destroyed -37 to +34 by McDonald, Jacob was at a loss. It truly was Ronald's world. With nothing left for him, he called the nearest McDonald's establishment and admitted defeat. Ronald McDonald had won.

Fun fact: at some point ronald McDonald will decide that a character is just WAY too op (example: UI fox) and decide that he just wins for free. He will enter a mode where he cannot sd, and wins the game automatically if the enemy ever hits him ONCE.

Fun Fact: Ronald is only so powerful in Rivals of Aether because, in his debut in MUGEN, he was an all-around well built character who went by a translation of his Japanese name, Donald. The fact that one of Ronald's skins in RoA is so powerful is a reference to how Ronald's skins were in MUGEN. See, in MUGEN, you could set different values for different skins of a character, leading to two notable variations: "Shadow Donald", who had an amped up moveset as well as auto-healing, and "Donald Gang", which turned a 1v1 into a 1v8 or something like that. And people just went to town on making more and more powerful Donald edits.
