I’ve been watching this channel for a couple years now and it’s such a little indulgent gem. I’ve never seen or heard of the places you go to so thank you for always documenting these things for us!
Glad to see you're posting on this channel more often. If I'm ever traveling with my girlfriend seeing your videos gives me ideas for places to try out so thanks for that! Also you're always entertaining! Hope all is going well!
I`m so happy I found out your channel bro. Awesome videos, great presentation and everything. Keep them coming. I`m gonna hit that notification bell :P
Thanks Matt, that’s another one to try in Hong Kong. I’ve been here a couple of years and there’s still so much to try! Keep these videos coming. Delish!
Enjoyable video, thank you. I appreciate the balanced critical comments as it reveals that you are presenting an honest perspective and not a sponsored video.
Great video! Very cool to see them making the whisky ball by hand. For the uni what were the herbs and do you think there would have been an benefits to them if presented in a different way or with much less? It did look like a lot of herbs. Thanks again for great content!
Meal seems so beautiful, but for that price i can not be full with these dishes, and it may make me sad. In Turkey, minimum wage is around 300 us dollars...
Hey #matt I too live in a city sounded by the great Indian ocean, that's #Gwadar, and we also have a lot of local sea foods. If you pass by this way I wish I would be your host.
I've been looking at this all wrong. Allways thinking I should find a new restaurant for Matt to try. Instead, I'm going to challenge You to pick the place and dishes and I'l have what You having. LOL Hahahaha. Cheers Matt. I know You wonder why people like food shows so much, but it does tikle the brain.
May i make a recommendation for some videos in the future, on my last trip to japan i did not want to do any tourist type dinning (which there is nothing wrong with if your new to visiting) Nor did i want "stereotypical" 5 star opulence of which i have had much of . i have been obsessed with the little izakaya hole in the wall/local gems found in side alleys. the ones that you know are good cause they have older locals eating, drinking and smoking in them on a tuesday at 11 PM. they more than likely wont have english menus which isnt a problem with google translate (the one where it trans. on the fly through your camera screen for menus and signs, etc.) THAT...is where i have had some of my favorite dishes that keeps me coming back for more. THAT, at least for me is where i have had the Worlds Best Seafood. i hope you will try some of said gems out maybe have a video or 6 about your finding. best wishes, safe travels, keep up the good work. {
with this pricetag, i'm expecting excellent quality both in produce and cooking.... pre service deepfry especially the prawn head is next to unforgivable......
I’m curious how you can say within the same breath that “both were good, but one lacked flavor.” Isn’t the point of fine cuisine flavor, so how can anything you describe as not having flavor be good, at all?? Perhaps, you’re correct about the jet lag regarding your stopping in a place like this, but also you might want to get some rest before your final critique?? It might make more sense...🤔🤨
Josh Nim I have 1 child and a relatively frugal wife. Yes, in theory, I can spend $280 on one meal, but I think it is dumb to waste so much money even if I make ~$20,000 per month. In my eyes I cannot afford it.
